747-400 Installation

Featured Replies

Hi, anyone,I just installed 747-400 in my FSX2004. I couldn't get the Captain's instruments (PFD, ND) to turn on 9 out of 10 times, only the First Officer's side tunred on. So I had to fly with the F/O's side. Also, the altitude wasn't not compatible with my FSX aircraft, I had to push the joystick all the way forward and down to keep it level, ot it would raise the nose too soon during taxing. Could anyone help? thank you very much!!

Difficult to say what the problem might be without knowing which 747-400, made by which software developer?Al

Hi people,I answeed my question. The Asim guys could not help but I figured it out. I did not have enough memory on 3GB ram, because I had to un-installed my Wilco 777 for the PMDG 747 to load everything. Anyone has the same problem? I still have the same problem with the joystick because I had to push all the way down to lower altitude on landing so the glideslope is extra long, also had to push down hard to keep from takeoff prematurely, and I am hesitate to upgrade to a yoke. Anyone has a solution? Thanks.

With your attitude..?
Did you mean altitude??

 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

and if it is the PMDG 747,they have a support forum of their own. There is more knowledge in that forum about it then you'll get here. However, looking at the way you post and the indications you give,I don't think they'll be all that helpful.

Sorry, I can not help you because your question is so weird..PS. This is FS9 or FS2004 forum. There's another forum for FSX. But I'm not sure if there's a forum for FSX2004. :)Regards.

First i want to say, that 3GB is more than enough memory to run ANY add on plane or scenery for FS2004, now, what is FSX2004 i don't know...and for the 747 that you asked...wait a second, i need to grab my magic ball, to see what model you have...

My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....
