Vox ATC & FS Commander 9 & PMDG 747

Featured Replies

Hi this is my first post here ...I flying around with my PMDG 747, creating flight plans with FSC 9, importing them to the FMC and everything works fine. Last week I brought the FS Crew Voice commander for 747 and it worksvery well.Last week I was searching for a ATC Program, an downloaded the VOX ATC Demo and 3 Voices. It works fine with a simple Cessna Flight. (like the IFR Example Flight from Kannsas Intl. to Eppley). But how can it work with an complex intercontinental Flightplan? How can I load the FSC flight plan in to VOX ATC?Any idea? Thanks for helpErikSystem: MacPro 2008 (8x2,8) Windows 7 64bit (via Bootcamp) FSX SP2, UT2, FSCrew 747 Voice, AES, PMDG 747-8

Wasn't there a user manual included? Batting%20Eyelashes.gif VoxATC loads the plans together with FSX, so if you open the default FSX flight planner and import that FSC plan, VoxATC knows about it. The FSX planner can read FSX and Fs9 formats, so you are flexible there.

  • load a flight plan into FSX when you and your desired plane are at the gate
  • save that flight plan (FSX might ask for "overwrite" there, just say "ok")
  • save the actual flight
  • start VoxATC

would be a good procedure to start an IFR experience. You should see VoxATC coming up, asking for a radio check or clearance call then.

What CoolIP said, I use FSbuild and have it set to export a PMDG Flight plan and a FSX/FS9 flight plan. You have to load them both, one for aTC and one for the craft.

why do I have to be at the gate 1st, can't I just load the plan into FSX main page, launch FSX -> now I at the gate , and let VoxATC use that plan I previously loaded into FSX?why is it needs to be re saved after I am at the gate? isn't it virtually the same plan?

That's exactly what I do. Pick the aircraft, load flight plan into the FSX flight planner and that's it.I think, It's in the manual. There is no need for that load/save staff as far as I know.I'm not sure, but maybe it was required in the previous versions...
