January 4, 201115 yr Library Administrator Am I correct in assuming that AFCAD has not been released for FSX? And it it has, can you use the old RAFCADS from FS9 to have AI utilize more runways and whatnot? Brian A. January 4, 201115 yr Noy good idea to use FS9 afcads in fsx as a lot of the runways have being repositioned and quiet often there are scenery clashes. As noted above there are new airport editors, one payware and 2 free. ade seems to do better.
January 4, 201115 yr Also RAFCAD has been deprecated, as FSX makes use of aircraft.cfg wingspan value vice the model radius size.scott s..
January 4, 201115 yr I also use ADE, it's a very powerful tool yet easy to understand and use. Just edit an airport and compile the bgl into your Addon Scenery folder. You can also change the terrain to create space for you airport and so on. FSX --- Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 overclocked to 3GHz --- HD4650 --- 4GB DDR2 Memory --- Vista 32 Bit Addon Aircraft: Wilco A318-321, Wilco 737 Classic, Wilco 777, Carenado Beech F33A Bonanza Addon Scenery: Aerosoft Bremen, Aerosoft Maldives X, Aerosoft Gibraltar X Addon Utilities: Radar Contact 4, SuperTrafficBoard Others that I can't remember ;-)
January 4, 201115 yr I use AFX which is AFCAD for FSX but it is payware now. ADE is a little more complicated but free, I suggest that you try that one first.
