February 15, 201115 yr Does anyone know which is more likely to have the most accuarate flight model between the Wilco, Default or Posky 737s?I know they're different variants. Doesn't matter. I'm just looking for the best flight model WITH a VC.Thanks Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
February 16, 201115 yr Hi DougalI do quite a lot of VA flying and I the Wilco 737 is by far my favourite. The systems are generally fully functional, engine start procedure has to be done correctly and the APU consumes fuel. However, for me the best feature is the FMC which has to be programmed correctly but, once set up, provides excellent aircraft navigation and system mangement. This aircraft also works well with the VR Insight MCP Combo Panel which came to me via Father Christmas! The Electronic Attitude Director Indicator (EADI) and the Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicator (EHSI) can both be displayed in 2D format by clicking o them in the 3D cockpit which helps during TO and Approach/Landing. There is an accompanying gude, written by an 737 Captain, in which the various steps and procedures are well explained. Can't add anymore reallyRgds - Roger

February 16, 201115 yr Wilco is not bad, but I'm real old ladies fan, I'm waiting for Captain Sim's one, they have recently released first preview - looks good. Hope development will not take too long. Regards,Stan
February 16, 201115 yr Author Thanks for info guys, but I guess didn't make myself understood, sorry... I do have these aircraft. When I refered to the flight model, I meant just that. Which has the most accurate flight handling characteristics to that of a real 737?The three birds all seem to behave quite differently, especially with regard to trim control and elevator response. Thanks again Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
February 16, 201115 yr Which has the most accurate flight handling characteristics to that of a real 737?Thanks againInteresting question. Who knows? None of us armchair pilots, that's for sure. I don't think you're going to find out unless we have some 737 flight crew on the forums. And even then, they might disagree! At the very least you'd need time in a commercial simulator to help form a meaningful opinion.I believe the Wilco aircraft was checked out by 737 pilots during its development, so presumably it isn't too far off?
