February 24, 201115 yr very nice shots. To me personally the second one looks very wrong with those dipping wings. JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
February 24, 201115 yr Great shots! And btw. use Nvidia Inspector to set your AA/AF levels to higher standards, this AA you have really sux and ruins what could be a really really nice quality shots.
February 24, 201115 yr Thanks for the comments folks.Does anyone know what is causing the droopy wings? I must confess I'm only a casual simmer and have only very recently got back into it after about a 5 year absence, and even back then I only ever used the default aircraft, so am still learning how to fly these decent, complex aircraft! Though I am loving every minute of learning Word Not Allowed - interesting you should mention that. I bought a new PC a few months ago and have never been happy with the results I've got in FS out of it, considering the spec of the PC. I've tried changing all sorts of AF/AA settings in the nVidia control panel without any noticable difference. What elements are you referring to in the shots above? The jaggies around the edges of the aircraft or the quality of the ground scenery? To be honest I've never been happy with either!
February 24, 201115 yr Very nice artwork! I'm not an expert at motion blur but isn't the blur in the last shot in the wrong direction? As to your wings - maybe you have too much fuel in your wings? And Nvidia Inspector is a MUST - it improves a lot. Look here. Switchboard - Track Your Simulator Add-ons - Throttle Quadrant
February 24, 201115 yr A Lovely Set, Like Your Barcelona Ones.1 Thing......PLEASE TURN ON YOUR AA SO WE CAN ENJOY THESE WONDERFUL SHOTS MORE!!!!!!!

Be aware of performance drop if it happens. You can still drop to 8xS setting. And be wary of Transparency AA, I tend to turn it off, it doesn't bring much, and it can potentially cause some problems and big slowdowns. Test as you like. And make sure you post some shots after you're done!
February 25, 201115 yr You guys rock! Will post my results when I have had chance to do some experimenting!
February 28, 201115 yr Droopy wings:In FSX, wingflex animation is usually accomplished with the "Advanced Animations" option.Visit Options/Settings/Display and make sure that "Advanced Animations" is turned on. If that does not do it, it may be that the model you are flying is not 100% compatible with FSX, and you are seeing your problem due to that. Good luck!-Greg
