That's right, some redneck from Texas kicked me out of his server because I had a PMDG plane. All other cheap and crappy addons were allowed except for PMDG planes. "NO PMDG PLANES" it said in the description (i found this out later), and I could hear his thick southern accent ingame telling me the same thing as I was about to land. He just wanted to be left in peace with his default 747 along with the other noobs flying default aircraft and Abacus A380. He should've written: "NO SKILLED PEOPLE ALLOWED" because he was obviously intimidated by people with PMDG planes. 'All those fancy book learnin' people! Now you get tha hell outta my session before I call mah cousin Bubba!'So if you ever come across a 24 hour dedicated free flight server called GUNSMOKE AVIATION (yes that's really the name), you know what to expect.Got a multiplayer story to share? Maybe he didn't want any structured/organized flying in his server. He could just be doing stunt flying with a few friends, and someone with PMDG would be looking for ATC or traffic management as they'd be accustomed to real world procedures.I mean, PMDG has created a reputation of realism so maybe that's why he posted that server message. Stunt flying with a 747? You might have a point, maybe that's what those default simmers like to do. In all seriousness though, it was a dedicated server. The host is not there 90% of the time, come on, how bad can it be having a couple of PMDG people flying around minding their own business? I think that's a better scenario than having a bunch of noobies do loops with 747's and crash into you. Yes it's his rules, his server, but it's pretty absurd.

No it's not absurd, as you say it's his server and his rules and maybe he want's a place where people can log on and do what they want without being intimidated, I can bet you that rule come about from know it all hardcore simmers logging on and giving others a hard time. Anyway I prefer it when people like that setup there own server rather then logging onto Vatsim or IVAO.Why even bother stressing when you have two global networks to choose from?

Well, it is his right. It is a SIMULATION after all. You don't HAVE TO operate aircraft in a realistic way. Maybe that's what he was wanting.On the other hand, if he was acting rude and "redneckish", I apologize as he is in the minority in this state, even if Hollywood tries to prove otherwise. I happen to be very proud that I come from Texas, albeit a metroplex that contains 6 million residents that I like to call DFW! (or in redneck speak: DFDub! lol)

Just because the host made up a rule does not make it or him IMMUNE to criticism and ridicule. I think it was a ridiculously silly rule and I stand by that. I'm sure you just smile and nod your head at everything that happens to you in real life right?
