March 6, 201115 yr Hi allMy TIR has a rather annoying tendancy to make large erratic movements (particularly on the Z axis.....head backward and forward). This is really annoying when trying to focus on instruments or flicking switches. Can anyone with stable TIR performance for FSX post pics of their profiles or recommend settings to eliminate these spiked movements. I also find that occassionally I have to frequently centre with the F12 key because the viewpoint sometimes moves to above the cockpit roof. Thanks in advance.Eric
March 6, 201115 yr Hi Eric,Seth, over at NaturalPoint has a thread in their forum about making adjustments for FSX/FS9, as well as a link to a profile that he made that works pretty well. For me personally, I'm using the 'smooth' profile, as that seems to work best for me using a triple-monitor setup.Hope this helps, and best of luck!-GeorgeLink: http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=43231#Post43231 Happy Flying! -George

Thats the one I use, it is old but very good and works with the latest track 5 drivers.Heres a link, http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=56&filename=FS2004-Optimized_Flight.xmlIts called FS2004 optimized, but works well.Be aware if you are just starting TrackIR use, one does have to get used to using it. It takes a bit of experience to get used to it, but well worth doing it.I set a button on my yoke to be able to pause TrackIR if I have to move around to flip switches and such. Makes it very easy to not have our head jumping around all the time.Good luckDonald E. Donovan Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
March 6, 201115 yr Author Thanks guys,I'm actually a long time TIR user. Just lately I've had these issues. I shall try the links suggested. CheersEric
March 7, 201115 yr Seems like some light-issue. Got a new cap with reflective items on it? Try the view where you see what the TIR sees, look for any light signature other than the three. Bjorn "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
