March 15, 201115 yr 1)Installed FSX, unlike FS9 there is no Modules folder. Is this normal? DLL's in general FSX folder.2) Install sceneries, asked if ViMare has to be installed ( seen as security treat by Norton due to unknown manufacturer). Is this afe to install and what does it do?
March 15, 201115 yr What sceneries did you install/are you about to install? Which one uses this dll? Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
March 15, 201115 yr Yes, FSX does not have a Modules folder. However a Modules foldeer will be created if you install FSUIPC for FSX.And if memory serves, LAGO used a dll with a similar name - ViMaCore2004.DLL - perhaps required for the old FSE enhancer to work. That was for FS2004 of course.
March 16, 201115 yr However a Modules foldeer will be created if you install FSUIPC for FSX.Phew! I'm glad you jumped in there, Opa, as I do have a Modules folder! i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
March 16, 201115 yr This is not a default module. From recollection, I think it is something that gets installed either with a payware aircraft (cant remember which) or Aerosoft scenery.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
March 16, 201115 yr I think AES from Aerosoft uses this DLL for key settings. But I´m not sure. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
