March 24, 201115 yr Hi Ian.Afraid it's too late. I purchased before your post so maybe i'll get lucky and get a break on the 2.0 price. Great product by the way. Just used it for In Cockpit camera for now and am quite impressed but as expected, very user unfriendly. I have registered with the support forum and am listening with interest to the good old PMDG crowd. Trying to set up ground effects in 'RND' etc., and trying to figure out the terminoligy in the manual (Bit Technical). However i admit i went in eyes open when purchasing. Thanks anyway for trying to give me a heads up.PS This product looks too good to give up on.The new version is supposed to be more user friendly, there will be a 65% discount for previous customers, I'm not sure how long development will be for 2.0 but don't forget with flight1 you have the 30 day money back guarantee.

March 24, 201115 yr WAIT!EZCA 2.0 is going to cost me money?65% discount for existing users. Why complain though? Have you not used the version you paid for already? If you went to a restaurant and paid £30 for a meal and then 3 months later the restaurant replaced some of the ingredients to make the food better would you expect another meal with a discount? For the price of a meal I would say that this software is very worthwhile - even if I had to pay full price every 12 months for an upgraded version.1 meal for two = £30 - eat once and gone forever1 copy of EZDOK = £30 - install once and use forever

Why, seriously these guys wonder why Piracy is so bad in this community, there ya go. Im not a pirate, never have been and never will be but seriously that is a load of crap they are fixing something you own and youre going to buy it back off them! I won't be buying it. I always thought EZCA was to expensive to begin with. Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom

I always thought EZCA was to expensive to begin with.I felt the same way when I went from Vista to W7 But on a serious note I'm sure a program like EZCA is pretty complicated to develop and it looks like it will have some pretty cool new features. But I can see this ticking some folks off, especially those who just purchased the product.
March 26, 201115 yr Author Well i am looking at it this way: $35.00 is pretty cheap for a piece of software that in the short time i have used it, does some darn amazing stuff dispite its faults. Now if i can get an update that makes it even better and fixes the problems for a reasonable price less 65%, then i figure i haven't payed any more in total than (To me) it is worth. Rick Hobbs
