Dreamfleet?

Featured Replies

I don't own the Capt Sim version so can't speak from experience, but based on what I've read in just about every FS forum, the overwhelming view is that the Dreamfleet 727 is vastly superior to the Capt Sim one. If I do buy a 727 it'll only be the Dreamfleet one. But no offence intended to anyone who prefers the Capt Sim one.

The systems don't compare to Dreamfleet's. The flight model is wrong by the numbers. The exterior model/VC isn't t as good. Weather radar with Dreamfleet's. The list continues on and on. Yikes what a strange thing to say! :(
Hmm, that is actually very surprising. Consider me corrected. Cheers Zach!

Well you're probably right about that, but once that 737NGX comes out little else is going to get used...

I am assuming you have never heard of 'Ifly737NG' then? Extremely functional with SP2 to follow shortly with even more enhancements. The good thing is you can try it, and shortly for FSX too, and if you don't like it you get your money back.Conversly if you don't like PMDG's offering your stuck with a product that is for FSX only, and double the price of the 'IFLY 737NG'.

Maybe, but for us FS9ers that's not an option. Fortunately iFly made me a 737NG.

Same here. I'm in a "holding pattern" buying any more a/c until I get the NGX, since like you, I will probably hardly fly anything else once I own it.I've considered getting the iFly 737 as someone else mentioned, but I hate to buy the same a/c twice.

The Ifly 737 is definitely worth the purchase (IMHO). I have recently reinstalled FS9 and run it on it's own drive, much like FSX. Flys a really nice ILS approach and when the FSX version comes out it will be nice to have that running alongside the NGX. They will both have there own reasons why peolpe will fly them, but i for one will have them both.RegardsPete

Wasn't too impressed with the Ifly. Looks pretty and works well, but the sound system wasn't all that great from what I could tell. No APU sounds, etc. Little things that I have come accustomed to. Keep in mind I was on a friend's laptop but a powerful one at that... I'm not sure if it was SP2 or not.
