Plus we'd see that dreaded "blue screen of death" much more often...
I wonder what it'd be like if halfway over the Atlantic pressing a button on the FMC caused all the systems to crash...

The funniest part about the joke is that Kyle guy... Self proclaimed expert on the subject, using big words to try and show he knows what he is talking about when in fact he knows nothing on the subject because it is FICTION. Its all just a joke DC Centre relax.. no need to write an essay.Corey Prefontaine CYEG

What would happen is that Boeing would start designing planes based on FSX simulations, that stutter in flight, and then FSX would become the most realistic simulator ever.Boeing's preflight checklists would include UIAutomationCore and HighMemFix items too
Then my NEW computer would be crap.-Brandon Danyluk

Haha Matthew, classic :biggrin:Also planes would always crash to desktops, so we'd need to make sure we put our mugs somewhere else or one day one of those boeings may spill our coffee and mess it all up. Not nice

I can assure you, I was not looking to drag you around, that was not my intention. If it was taken that way I apologize.
Mike,The dragging to which I referred wasn't meant to include you - just the others who joined in the fray of my misunderstanding of your posts. Looking back at your posts, nothing harmful was said or even really intended. I'm not sure what I was reacting to in your posts. I remember it being early and having a headache, though. Sorry!

Expert on what subject, might I ask? You'll note, I actually disclaimed what I wrote by saying I'm no lawyer.Look, I'll admit, I got nailed by the joke, and in assuming people above my post were writing in all seriousness, I wrote why their claims would be false. I apologize if I offended anyone, and I'm glad some got a laugh at my expense, but there's no reason to go dragging me around as if I personally attacked each of you.I'm not the nicest person around here, but really guys...
To make things up you should be in the BETA team!

Ha! It would be nice, but you'll note in Robert's post about those wanting to be on the Beta team:

[...]but who are also active, positive participants in the forum while being friendly, supportive and helpful.
I would place myself in the active, supportive and helpful bins, but I'm not always the most diplomatic in my replies, so the jury is out on the positive and friendly bit. Thanks for the nod though!
