April 6, 201115 yr I've been flying lots of American routes with iFly 737(especially Southwest's routes) and now I want to change my favour to the other side of the Atlantic with Ryanair.I'm looking for a good Malta Airport but it seems there are 2 developers. Aerosoft and Daniel Chircop. Which one do you prefer? Since they are both AES supported I can't decide. Thanks! April 6, 201115 yr Author Daniels is the newer of the two and more enhanced. Thanks! I was looking at the AES list when I see Aerosoft Malta is from version 1.60 and Daniel from 1.96 so I guessed Daniel is newer :( Hoang Le i7 13700k - Sapphire Nitro+ AMD RX 7900 XT - Asus TUF Z790 PLUS D4 - Gskill Trident 32GB DDR4-3600 LG 34GP63A-B Ultrawide - ASUS VG259QM MSFS2020

It is possible to use both and disable the Aerosoft airport scenery and then get the best combination. Graeme Butler

This is what I've found:Drzewiecki Design Polish Airports Vol 1 - All 3 of the airports (Gdansk, Katowice & Rzeszow) in this package are Ryanair destinations, as are a lot of the Aerosoft German Airports.Almost all of the UK2000 sceneries are Ryanair served, together with a fair few Aerosoft Spanish sceneries (Madrid, Barcelona etc). I believe Aerosoft also do sceneries of Faro in Portugal and Kos in Greece. So, lots of choice if you want to replicate Ryanair's real-life routes! If you're into VA's check it out http://www.ryrvirtual.com/CheersMartin
April 6, 201115 yr I use Daniels version and love it. I've visited Luqa several times in the real world and feel this version gives the most accurate representation. There's also a freeware photoscenery covering the islands of Malta and Gozo available in the library.+1 for the Drzewiecki Design Polish Airports. They're amazingly detailed. Also the Aerosoft Lübeck EDHL is great fun to fly into with its short runway. The freeware 'Canarias Project', Lago Rome Ciampino and and Aerosofts LEPA are some more great destinations from the RYR schedule. UK2000 Stansted and Eiresim Dublin/Shannon/Cork are essentials for Ryanair flights as well. i7 2600k @ 5.1Ghz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz, EVGA GTX 580 @ 950MHz, OCZ Vertex II 240GB, ASUS Xonar DG, Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W PSU, Antec KÜHLER 620 W/C, Corsair 600T SE White My FS9 Screens - http://fs9screens.blogspot.com/ Callum Richardson

Maybe today I fly Ryanair but if something in the US interests me, I may hop in a 747 and go ahead to it And come back to Ryanair the next day.I use Daniels version and love it. I'm starting to get tired of the busy airports so short-runway airports or small island airports are what I'm aiming to :wink:Currently I'm editing the European flightplans to newer ones. Should take me couple of days. Hoang Le i7 13700k - Sapphire Nitro+ AMD RX 7900 XT - Asus TUF Z790 PLUS D4 - Gskill Trident 32GB DDR4-3600 LG 34GP63A-B Ultrawide - ASUS VG259QM MSFS2020

If someone made an A320 family to the same standard as the iFly 737 it would make my life complete! Oh, and thanks a bunch by the way...I've just looked up the Malta scenery you're referring too...AND NOW I WANT IT!! :( Martin
April 6, 201115 yr I'm happy to recommend Daniel's LMML. If you like short runways and challenging landings, try a short hop from Malta to LICR Reggio Calabria. It's a little like Italy's Kai Tak :( I believe there's freeware here for FS9 scenery. I've got some old Lago package that, whilst showing it's age, is still a lot of fun. I'm waiting for a realistic A320 but it seems to be longgggggggggggggg...I'm happy to recommend Daniel's LMML. April 6, 201115 yr The FREEWARE Gdansk is better than the payware IMO. Nothing against the DD guys as the other stuff they have is awesome (and I own all of the FS9 stuff they have). But the freeware version has AES too... Al Stiff
April 7, 201115 yr Hey thanks Gavin. Which plane is flying this route? In real life, I'm not sure to be honest. But who cares? In the sim, anything you fancy. I do it in EMB170s, B737s, TU-134 & 154Ms and B727s..The last 3 are fun :-) Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
April 7, 201115 yr The Aerosoft LMML for FS9 is one of their oldest sceneries - but it's also sold at a reduced price and so is good value. But it's nothing like their current standard. Sounds to me like you can't go wrong with either choice. One of the things I like about flying into the Aerosoft Malta is that it is a complete scenery and it makes a great destination from one of the many outstanding freeware ISD Italian airports.
April 8, 201115 yr The FREEWARE Gdansk is better than the payware IMO. Nothing against the DD guys as the other stuff they have is awesome (and I own all of the FS9 stuff they have). But the freeware version has AES too...I know this is OT but the freeware Gdansk was basically developed by Drzewiecki Design as well. The payware version has many of the same files as the freeware one. Graeme Butler
