NVidia GTX460

Currently running an XFX 5770 as my current rig's GPU set-up but have this nagging buzz in my head that an NVidia card would be better suited for FS9 or FSX. Technical Reviews I can get all over the place but I'm more interested in hearing the views of the hardcore simmers within these Forums. I figure that is much more crucial feedback than Technical Reviews. So, if someone has this card or has used it previously,I'd be obliged to read their views as used within either FS9 or FSX and which manufacturer recommended,i.e.Gigabyte,Asus,et al.Thanks.

It is great with FSX or FS9 - I've got the Asus card, cool and quiet, but other manufs are fine too.Make sure to get the latest nvidia drivers and nvidia Inspector to set 8XS or 8XSQ AA and 16X AF for best visuals. ...Along with LOD radius at 5.5 in FSX.

Running 5040x1050 + a 23" touch screen with quite decent performance. It's a short board w. Central fan and overclocked, it's a 2gb golden sample, which means very clockable.Bjorn

Bjorn a question re the touchscreenare you running that as a side screen or main screen.Reason I ask is I picked up an Acer touchscreen and cannot figure out how to run it as a side screen with the CDU unit on it to run as touch. Everytime I touch the ACer TS I move something on my main screen :?

Hi, Rob. Had the same issue  You have to set it up. Got this guide from some helpful soul, forgot who.1. Go to Control Panel and search for "Touch". 2. Click "Tablet PC Settings" 3. Click "Setup..." to the right of "Configure your pen and touch displays" 4. Choose "Touch Input..." 5. Hit the "Enter" key until you see the instructions appear on your actual touch monitor. Touch the screen and it will say something like "Hit enter to move to the next step". You should now see your touch events (and the mouse) appear on the touch screen when you...well, touch it. You should try to drag overhead panel onto it too, great for start up.Bjorn
