April 16, 201115 yr Hi there, I been flying for a long time with the PMDG 747 IFR flights within FSX.I use the built in ATC of the FSX for the entire flight, which I must say is pretty lame. Now I now there are many Product out there that are meant for replacing the AI ATC of the FSX to a much more realistic and comprehensiveIFR ATC AI.I just don't know which one are there.I reviewed one Product under the name of Radar Contact v4.3 and it seems like a good product, however it lacks ground control and other stuff. My question is does any one can list here AI ATC Product(s) replacement for FSX which I can review and find the best match for my needs? April 16, 201115 yr I recommend vatsim.... you'll have to use VatSpyhttp://www.metacraft.com/VATSpy/To see who's online but normally during evenings and weekends most major airports are staffedIf you're only looking for something offline ProFlight emulator and/or radar contact would be best. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
April 16, 201115 yr I would recommend the product you mentioned: Radar Contact. Otherwise I second the VATSIM comment.
April 16, 201115 yr Author Let's forget VATSIM for a moment, I use VATSIM, but the main problem is that the places that I fly thereare hardly any controllers, so I do a lot of off line flying.I know RC gets many recommendation , but I would like to get other products to look at.do you know what other products are out there apart from RC? April 16, 201115 yr The product I use is Proflight Emulator. It's not as popular and takes a little more work than RC but the reason I like it is because I do a lot of flying in Europe. PFE has voice sets to match just about every region of the world. If I'm flying from London to Frankfurt, for example, the controllers in London will have British accents and the controllers in Frankfurt will have German accents. The immersion factor is great. You might wnt to take a look at it. http://www.oncourse-software.co.uk/
April 16, 201115 yr I just googled it...vox atc might be for you:http://www.voxatc.com/Home.aspx | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

April 16, 201115 yr Hi,I currently use EditVoicepack X, here is a link for it : http://www.editvoicepack.com/It replaces the current boring ATC with a professional manner, such as where for example Center go contact Approach on 120 POINT 95 it replaces it with 120 DECIMAL 95. Here is a tutorial - http://www.editvoicepack.com/Tutorial/CreateModificationTutorial.htmlHope this helps!Josh

April 16, 201115 yr Im from Europe though ;)I figured, but you made it sound like default ATC was wrong in all areas :( | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Which will add winds to landing clearances, and expected flight levels for Clearance Delivery. I also did a couple of unreleased (As yet) Mods that will add speed reductions to approach and tower clearance. Unfortunately I had to hard code these to 180 and 160 kts respectively because I can't make the response instruction always match. Also one that will add a welcome to the destination airport on tower hand off to ground, like I've heard on VATSIM videos many times. To find my Mods search "EditVoicepack ATC" in the FSX/Sounds library. April 17, 201115 yr I don't think it does that - RC or Pro flight emulator is what you want in that case.BTW, your avatar is funny teehee! :( | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
