May 17, 201115 yr For me that would be the biggest surprise because Ryan stated somewhere that they'll probably do the BBJ later as an update/upgrade.But we will see ;)Actually, that was already stated many months ago by Ryan himself. IIRC, after the realease of the NGX, PMDG would start to think about the possibility of creating a BBJ Expansion Pack with all the differences in design and performance simulated, like extra fuel tanks and other stuff. In my opinion it has something to do with the different options for example different MCPs and so on. There's a lot of things they could do. Or maybe we'll get every single model all together in one package which means we could fly the 600/700/800/900/900ER/BBJ (did i forget anything?)I believe that all the models will be included upon the release. Jason said in another thread that MDG unveiled the -800 first because this model was the one used by them as a base to build the NGX, so it was "finished" first. Once the features were incorporated to the -800 NGX, they would "copy 'n' paste" them to the other variants. Matheus Mafra
May 18, 201115 yr Really the only question is whether or not the 700ER and 900ER models will be included.
May 18, 201115 yr No rain/icing effects for multiple reasons I've already articulated before. (hard animation limit + the effectiveness of the real NG's anti-ice systems - you aren't going to see ice building up on the wings like on a GA plane or a turboprop like the J41)No WX radar for the long standing reasons concerning the sim's weather engine.Well, if we're going to be honest with each other, I think that not simulating a WX Radar at all is further from reality than having one that's not exactly perfect, but close, I think most would agree. May 18, 201115 yr Commercial Member I don't.I could simulate a fake SELCAL system, too, but it wouldn't do me a bit of good since FS9/FSX doesn't have a HF radio spot, and neither do pilot clients for online flight. Real? Hardly. This has been beaten to death. Until the sim weather engine changes, the argument is moot. Kyle Rodgers
