NGX head movements vs EDZOK

Featured Replies

Ok so very simple does NGX even need EDZOK for the head effects.

Well, there's always the default FSX head inertia and viewpoints. I'd guess EZDok would do it better.

I think as you wish..not must have.

What I mean is will NGX have custom head movements

What do you mean as custom head movements.... any effect that we haven't seen in any other aircraft before (I mean without any extra add-ons like EZDok) ?

too much, too soon....

I see videos where camera in a VC bounces around on takeoff etc and I thought NGX would have this covered. But not so so ezdok is on my shopping list.As always I appreciate when an avsim god responds so thankyou

Those videos are probably using EZ Dok. That's the only thing that does that that I'm aware of. It's not easy to do, they hacked the sim's memory registers to figure out where the camera position is to be able to do that.

Hey this reminds me, a while back (I think it was you or Vin) mentioned possibly posting an ezdok/TiR profile set up for the NGX at or shortly after release. Is this still planned (tentatively at any rate)?

Yeah, they should be included with the plane actually. They're releasing EZ Dok 2 any time now though which is supposed to be much improved and will probably require new preset files...
