Maybe we should open a specialised sub forum just for these types of requests... It would save on a lot of space in the forums and save our precious time spent dredging through topics like this.....
There is another way to save your precious time....Just dont answer topics you are not interested in ! People can ask and ask again the same question thereis moderators that can delete topics. If people wanna answeer to the same question they are free to do it if they do not wanna answer they save time...Alfredo

Terribly sorry, to be asking these kind-of noob questions... But what exactly is 'wide-beta'? how does it differ from other stages of development? Thanks in advance!

Usually wide beta is opened up to a large majority of the people. It is the stage just before release. Usually at this point, the major bugs are out of the product. For games and MMORPG's, this is also a perfect time to stress out servers and find out what kind of problems the game/MMORPG will have with a lot of people in it.

PMDG employs two beta teams. The tech team has been testing it, searching for software bugs/inconsistencies. The second, wider team will be primarily to test the aircraft on a larger variety of different systems.
