Does MD-11 have cockpit reflections

Featured Replies

HI, I am considering buying this airplane and I am wondering if the VC has cockpit reflections on the glass when looking out the windows. It is hard to tell on the videos I have watched.

Boy, thats too bad. I have read many good things about this jet but, as trivial as it sounds, I love my cockpit reflections on the glass. It makes me feel like I am really inside of a cockpit.

Im a huge fan of little things like cockpit glass etc etc but I bought this bird back in 09 and have not been able to put it down, you get used to it after awhile. I would not let it deter you from buying it, the MD11 is one of the most unique aircraft in MSFS.

It's been my experience that those reflections are way overdone in many simulations. In the real planes they are minimal and when you are actually flying you don't even notice the very few that are there. Your eye just focuses past them.

Same here. I love glass reflections it makes you feel you're there.Without it it's like you sit there with no windshield.it takes away lots of realism imo.Btw, real aircraft have reflections. Not sure why many ac do not have them.

This is like the question in the general forum about the NGXs virtual cabin.Do you want the most realistic rendition of the MD-11 you will probably ever get near on a regular basis without a real world type rating and job with one of the operators or do you want an aircraft with window reflections?I know which I'd rather have.

Best Regards,

Dan Parkin.

I would definitely buy the MD-11 it is an awesome add on.Michael Pare.

this is exactly what i said to the Team but V. Scimone replied that the team wont release any patch that include this small but really important missing. i dont use this amazing plane since thne coz no immersion feeling on it. sad coz 5 years of development and then no chance for a small patch that takes 1 day to make it

Yeah guys, don't buy it! I was asking for patch, where flight attendant would offer me some coffee and snacks while airborne, but she never came. And in the VC I don't see my legs and part of the body sitting in the captains chair, not to mention poor FO, that talks to me time after time, but I never saw him. I suspect there is something weird going on, because I see us both from outside views. That is kinda freaky... DONT BUY IT!Sorry for being too much sarcastic!
