July 15, 201114 yr Nope - it's just the accuracy of the systems and the fact that things break sometimes lol...Do a quick maneuver in the yellow arc and that might be the end of the elevator assemblynot on a reinstall ... its a calibration issue
July 15, 201114 yr not on a reinstall ... its a calibration issueI thought the same thing but then realized that the installation places a folder on Apps/local (or roaming, don't remember) that keeps track of your plane. Kind of a log if you will. When you uninstall the Katana that folder remains there. Thats the reason why even after reinstall the plane would still be broken and the hours flown would still be there. Everything will be set back and you start with a brand new plane :(

Everything will be set back and you start with a brand new plane :(Or just run the reset utility from the "Aerosoft/Diamond DA20-100 Katana 4X" folder in the start menu. The launcher isn't required to use the Katana. July 16, 201114 yr Author Not sure exactly what you mean, but just to clarify, the RXP530 integration is an option. You do not need to buy the RXP unit to enjoy the Katana 4X - it comes with a GPS500 based on the FSX default. After using this, how can someone go back to the FSX default GPS? There does seem to be an effort at getting out a King Air, sadly, not much news on it. July 16, 201114 yr After using this, how can someone go back to the FSX default GPS? Ah, OK - I get your meaning.Bear in mind that the Katana is not something you will be covering great distances in - it is relatively slow and it does not have an autopilot. The real-world Katana is not IFR-certified either. You don't really need a GPS for the kind of flying you do in the Katana, just good scenery, Plan-G, and a stopwatch.
