This product looks to be an amazing addition. From what I could tell, it's still not out yet, correct? Here's hoping that the framerate hit is minimal...
Yeah it's not out yet. I thinkg Umberto said that it will be released after KLAX is done.As far as the FPS hit, I would expect it to be next to none as it wont be doing anything until after you land and hit the hot keys to turn it on. Aside from the fact that a few little vehicles running around shouldn't cause much of an FPS hit at all. So if your able to run regular traffic AI, then the addition of a follow me if you so choose to you it wont cause an noticable FPS hit and when your parked at a gate and have the fuel truck, baggage cart, and catering truck running and doing their thing, the FPS shouldn't be an issue since you will be standing still. GSX will only be working on user a/c not on all you AI. If it were the case that it was servicing all the AI then surely the FPS would either take a hit or plummit altogether.

I have it installed in a few of my addons amongst others 727 captain FSX which is very complex and always a big hit in frames in my system. by adding the gauge there was no notisable hit.

I think we're talking about two seperate things here since GSX isn't out yet and no one has it installed. My response was to FlyandFight when he was asking about GSX being out and if the FPS hit would be bad, to which I replied its not about yet and I doubt there will be any FPS hit.

The push tug depends on two things. First, in order to see as many as possible you need to turn your airport vehicles slider up to the max. If you keep that slider at medium or low you wont see all the push tugs. However, keep in mind, the higher you set that slider the more FPS it will steal. Second, not all airports in FSX will have push tugs, but you can alter the default airport files using a freeware tool called ADEX from Scruffyduct software and add more tugs and/or other objects to the airport as you want.If the airport has no push back tug, you can still get an invisible push back by pressing Shift P to go straigh back or Shift P plus 1 or 2 to get a push back with a turn.At some point you might be interested in this product called Ground Services X or GSX by FSDreamteam. Its like AES, expect that it will work for all your airports, either default or payware, and includes the service vehicles, tugs, and all that other stuff. Here's a link for more info on it as well as a video inside that link. http://www.fsdreamte...hp?topic=4137.0
Quite an addon by the video cmåbellsjc, Yes it took me smtime to get tugs and as you say it's all about traffic density.resulting in a FPS kill in my case,so I've minimized other stuff instead and tuned via the FSX.cfg another simmer sent me,asked me not to share. But it isn't always the case that the tugs work with default command...If the addon concerned doesn't have a good andescent [contact points] section.

LOL!!! I think we're still talking about two different programs, Berlopez. Thanks for the info, cmpbellsjc. I'm looking forward to it's release.
