I see more Js41 flying than i do DH8 100/200/300 seems pointless making them when anyone who invests in a Dash these days buys a 400, and even that I would say is coming to its end of popularity with many carriers moving over to embraers or crj jets. I Really wont bother with the DH8 if its a 100/200, will stick with my Js41, then await the 747 remake. Till that time will be my ngx, js41 and leveld 767 which is still superb because of its hardware support.
Come down to KCLT or any eastern seaboard airport in the US... You'll see more blue, short DHC8s than you can shake a stick at. I hear the distinctive sound literally everyday and see them at 8,000', as I live under an approach gate into CLT. They're a dime a dozen. Not to mention the maintenance facility at KINT has a healthy, never ending flow of 100s/200s/300s. I'm not calling you a fibber, I just highly doubt you see more JS4100s than Dash 8s.

I have never seen a J41 in real life.. And I work at CYEG, two jobs. One as a fueler/rampie and another just as a rampie. I do however see many many dash 8's.. all 100, 200 and 300's. There is one horizon 400 that comes in and out but thats the only 400 I see. There are a couple jetstreams that do daily flights but they are the 31's not the 41's. Most of the aircraft in and out of here are 737's, 727's, erj 900, crj 200 and dash 8s. there is one 767 that does a daily flight to heathrow and a few a319/320's. I dont work at the main terminal. I work for an FBO down at the end of rwy 02 so most of the aircraft I see are buisness jets, king airs, metro's... etc. I would love to see a PMDG G5. We just had one in here last weekend and wow.. what a beautiful aircraft.

Never seen a J41 in my life. I live in the tropical north of QLD and it's all Dashes here. Flown on heaps good fun!

Ahhh well see as i live in the UK, we have moved on to modern planes lol there are dh8c around, but one of the larger UK carriers Flybe operatates a fleet of DH8D along with E195 and just arriving E170. A day at work for me will see at least 3 JS41 and no DH8C - when I worked at a center I would speak to a few DH8C mainly into small airports, the likes of Aurigny lease one, and Air southwest - but looks like they going bust. Most DH8C you see are being shipped out to other parts of the world as airlines dump them. So as I say seems pointless making a plane that is pretty much being phased out where the 400 is still in good use, and would probably provide for a better cockpit and feature list. Of course just my opinion - either way my real desire is to see the 747 remade and something like a crj or G5

When I go back home to durham/newcastle I see quite a few JS41. They were the title "Eastern Airways"I see lots of them everyday at newcastle airport. But yet again NCL is a hub for Flybe who operate alot of dash 8s there so I can`t differ which one is seen the most

Yes but the DH8 you see are 400's not 300/200/100 so you see more JS41 and DH8D than you do DH8C/A etc in fact you dont see any DH8C at EGNT probably at all!

I only ever been on one DH8 and that was a 300 with Air Canada Jazz, which from what I seen have a lot of them.

I thought this was a thread about Richard Simmons... Joe Legander

For me I don't care about the 747..PMDG already made a great one, why redo something? The 777 is one addon that has been completely neglected in FSX, and to an extent FS9. We need a good 777 much more than a rebooted 747.

The 747 compared to the NGX is a big difference. To maintain that good quality IMO the the 747 should get a facelift
