Trackir Profile for the NGX

Recommended Posts

Hi all, You can get my TrackIR profile used in those videos here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2000149/Angle%20of%20Attack%20737NGX%20Training%20enbseries%2C%20REX%2C%20cfg%2C%20TrackIR%20Files.zip Bear in mind that it won't work for everyone, so don't be afraid to tweak the settings. It's really not that hard! Nick

The link seems to be dead. I'm getting an error message. Can you please resend the link to your Track-IR profile? Just got Track-IR today.

You can give my new profile a try if you like, my old one used to be quite popular in the past.

Tip: assign the centre and pause facility in the TIR software to a couple of buttons on your joystick or yoke and you will find TIR a lot more comfortable to use.

By the way I (think I) disable the roll motion in this profile as I find it interferes with accuracy when you get close to the extremes of movement when looking down to the left or right.

Cheers, Andy.

Thanks for this. Will try it out,

So far the best program that I have that has helped make TrackIR work seamlessly is Opusfsx. This outstanding program integrates flawlessly with TrackIR. It's worth it's price for that alone. It also comes with the best weather engine I have tried in FSX, so purchasing this product is a no brainier.

Opus totally messes up trackir for me so I have that part disabled.. The weather engine is sweet though!

Posting in this thread because I ordered TrackIR 5 recently. I think it will be here by friday. So this thread is, right now, relevant to my interests...   B)

(Pretty expensive here where I live, by the way. Hope it's worth the investment!)

TrackIR changed everything for me. I don't see your experience being any different.

Using a large 4K monitor with this? screen is big and not close...tracker is about 2+ feet  away from the clip which I have attached to my headset

cant seem to get a descent field of reception, I always fall out of range and it stops working

If I adjust speed to faster, then I can view around without leaving the reception field but it becomes so jittery and sensitive even to my breathing

Any insights?
