By the way have you tried the Orbx and flightzone scenery. For some reason I'm having elavation issues there too. Some areas are fine while ai seems to float while other areas look sunken. Thanks again for your help
The PDX merge needs some re-work. Watch out for something in the future.

A reinstall still gives black buildings, Anthony.. I've removed AddonConverter & DX10. Also I still have no registration email, in spite of using the "send a new activation email" function. Ideas? Edit; Aaah - no posts on the forums... so it doesn't matter. Still have black buildings..

I think Larry has been having a spam issue with his forums. You're going to have to stick with DX9 for this scenery to work. Hopefully FLIGHT won't be a DX11 Preview and will include the full shebang.

We all hope so too! Anyway - it's working, arse backwards, Anthony - copy and rename FTKSEA to FSX AddonScenery, move the bits out that it doesn't need, install your patch, and voila! Kaboom... it works! Just like the old days!....... but it looks pretty darned good, no frame hit that I could tell, and it's great to have gate numbers again. You guys have done a bang-up job of SEA, so lots of thanks from this guy.

I have a couple of Q's. I have tried to register at your forums using 2 different emails and have never received the confirmation emails. I also installed the scenery and it looks good but I have some issues. I have posted a screenshot to help identify the issues. I have followed the instructions in the manual and in this thread and nothing works. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? KSEA's 3rd runway is not even present and on the ground the ground is uneven with a elevation difference between the taxiway and the runway.

Can you confirm for me that you are indeed running Orbx's Pacific Northwest? Nevermind, I can see it from your signature. I was a bit surprise by the lack of autogen and thought you might not have it. Make sure ADE_FTX_PNW_KSEA_Seattle-Tacoma_Intl_CVX.bgl is turned on (not labeled .off and/or present in the ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_PNW05_SCENERY\scenery folder), and that you have FlyTampa-Seattle above the FTX/OZx packages in your scenery library. This is documented on page 4 of the manual. Because your field is sunken, it looks like you accidentally left the afcad that comes with FlyTampa in the merge. That afcad supports a field height roughly 30' lower than what this merge is designed to depict.

sounds great

Yes I have followed the instructions and in the manual and turned the files off and this is still is the result. In addition have also removed the afcad and as a result I know longer see the scenery at all. I actually see only the old FlyTampa scenery I will give it another go.

Did you add the contents of the download to the FlyTampa-Seattle/scenery folder?

Yes, I was a little confused. Was I supposed to merge the files or just have them outside of the scenery and texture files? Thanks for your help by the way!

Put the files we included inside the scenery file of your activated FlyTampa-Seattle folder. That is all you seem to be missing.

Well that is strange because that is exactly what I did. I wasn't sure if they needed their own folder.

Anthony, The are some mistakes in your PDF file. Not a big deal. Just the names are a little off. I did exactly what was instructed and all the terminals are black. What did I miss? Thanks again!Jose UPDATE: I copied the contents of the TEXTURE folder from the original Fly Tampa files and now I have terminals. This is something that does not appear in the instructions. Thanks again for the contribution. Very nicely done!

Thanks for the heads up, Jose. I am working on an updated version of the install instructions. I made an assumption that the addition of the texture folder was known, but in reality this should have been provided for in the instructions. Glad you were able to get it working.

Edit: We posted at the same time, Anthony.

Aaaah! That must be why mine worked after I copied the whole FT KSEA into the Addon folder. So the process should be:- 1). Copy the original complete FlyTampa KSEA folder into the Addon Scenery folder.2). Remove all of the scenery files except those listed in the Installation Manual.2). Run the Patch installer.3). Rename the three OrbX .bgl files so that they are ".OFF" files. Now there are no black buildings. One needs textures!! DJ is also correct re the filename spelling of one of those files to be deleted. The specific file is:- FTX_PNW_objects_KSEA_BCN_PLC.bgl One other issue I encountered; the scenery files listed include a couple of files which I didn't find in the FT scenery folder; namely any of the _StatV.bgl's. Are these necessary? are these part of an FT update to the scenery? Lastly - "a great big THANK YOU for this patch" and the professional way that it's been announced and implemented. You guys deserve a medal...
