Some FSUIPC commands do not work with 737NGX

Featured Replies

Hi, Although manual states that NGX is fully compatible with FSUIPC it seems that FSUIPC commands listed below don't work with NGX:

  • Spoilers Arm On
  • Spoilers Arm Off
  • Spoilers On
  • Spoilers Off
  • Gear Up
  • Gear Down

Is it a bug? Above commands work perfectly with 747X & MD11. PS. Please, do not advise to not use FSUIPC because it is necessery to fly 747X & MD11 with my yoke. Czarek Niedzinski

Noticed the same thing here. My spoilers actually work but backwards. I think you just need to create a profile for the NGX to get this stuff to work properly. Mark.

All mechanical systems are custom and any action has to be filtered. E.g. is the hydraulic system pressurised ? Etc.) Please create your PMDG key commands and THEN you can assign buttons to those key commands from FSUIPC.

This is a kind of workaround (there isn't for example gear up or spoilers disarm PMDG commands) but I can live with this. Czarek

I have a button mapped in FSX for gear up, works great. I have my spoiler mapped to an axis on my yoke in FSX, works fine.

yeah, but i can't find FSX command GEAR UP - there is only GEAR UP/DOWN... Czarek

Not at my setup, but I believe that's the correct mapping. When I toggle switch up, landing gear goes up.

Czarek, could you please elaborate how exactly you did it?I don't want to use "toggle gear" for this, but "gear up" / "gear down" (2-way switch on my yoke), Thanks,Jörn

i would like to use gear up and gear down on separate command and don't succeed with fsuipc!it would be great you explain, czarek!thanks,Bernard

It seems with NGX we have to live with GEAR UP/DOWN toggle command only. As EMV said "All mechanical systems are custom and any action has to be filtered. E.g. is the hydraulic system pressurised ? Etc. I'm affraid the separate up & down commands are not modelled neither in NGX nor FSX... The same with spoilers arming - we have to use toggle only. PS. For gear operations I use one of the quadrant levers - using FSUIPC I send keystokes "G" when the lever will be placed in lower or upper position. There isn't the same like separate comands, but it works when you don't mistake the initial position. Czarek

I'd like you also point to LINDA, where several functions are already included and more to come...
