Is there any warning message when you reset the warning message panel? Sagga Toure
August 6, 201114 yr No need for spoilers, and no need to arm the auto-throttle. Make sure that when you put your take off data in the FMC, that you are using that flap setting you have input into the FMC :) Jordan Gregory MOBO: MSI P67A-C45 (B3) CPU: Intel i5-2500K @ 3.8GHz RAM: 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 @1600MHz GPU: NVIDIA 1GB GTX 560 @ 900MHz CASE: Antec 300 PSU: Rasurbo 650W GaminX HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
August 6, 201114 yr AFAIK the only things that will set off the takeoff config horn are:FlapsTrimParking brakeChocks (this will set off the takeoff config alarm in the NGX). -Peter Allen
August 6, 201114 yr AFAIK the only things that will set off the takeoff config horn are:FlapsTrimParking brakeChocks (this will set off the takeoff config alarm in the NGX).And T/O speed settings on the FMC? Sagga Toure
August 6, 201114 yr And T/O speed settings on the FMC? Not sure about the real thing but just booted up mine (any excuse not to go to bed!) from cold and dark to test the warning horn and didn't even touch the IRS/CDU. The horn went away as soon as I had configured the flaps, trim, parking brake, and chocks (since PMDG basically made the chocks a parking brake anyway). -Peter Allen
August 6, 201114 yr Here are the things that will set it off in the real plane Trailing edge flaps are not in the the flaps 1 through 25 takeoff range, orLeading edge devices not configured for takeoff, orSpoilers not down with the speedbrake lever in the down position, orParking brake is set, orStabilizer trim not set in the takeoff range. There are no FMC inputs that will cause a takeoff warning. Tom Landry
August 6, 201114 yr You know I want to say it.But I will be flamed.I hope you find the answer to your problem though.
August 6, 201114 yr When I arm my spoilers for take off i get the take off warning? When i put them down it stops. So in the 737 you don`t arm the spoilers for a RTO. Kimo
August 6, 201114 yr You do not arm the spoilers for takeoff. If the spoiler handle is not in the down position it will cause a takeoff configuration warning. See my post above. That is directly from the operating manual. The spoilers will deploy when to following conditions occur: Main Landing gear wheels spin up (more than 60 kts)Both throttles are retarded to IDLEReverse thrust levers are positioned for reverse thrust. August 6, 201114 yr in an unrelated note. Is it possible to have a zone temp light turn on when it's broken? I accidentally tried to start the engines with the packs on. Could that break something?
August 6, 201114 yr No it shouldn't break anything. All you should see is the engines spool up much more slowly and not achieve normal max motoring RPM if the pack are on. There would be no effect on the ZONE TEMPS. Tom Landry
