737NGX freeze once loaded!

Featured Replies

I deleted EVERY PMDG product off my FSX and I also DELETED anything that mentioned PMDG on my computer. I restarted my computer and reloaded 737NGX for FSX and the Activation came up which I was successful in activated, but once I loaded 737NGX to an airport, it will load, FSX will start, but once the scenery is loaded it runs for a second then freezes up stiff. . . .no errors, nothing, just sits there! Its been over 24 hours and I am dying to fly! Windows 7 Pro 64bit -- i7 2.8 Quad Intel Bloomfield -- Nvidia 9800 GTX+

Good evening? That can't be the solution for PMDG customer to deleete first all addons and reinstall the FSX in C:/FSX.Regards Marcel

Try opening up the FSX.cfg and find the line that starts with Situation= then delete everything on that line apart from Situation=

Cheers, Andy.

Don't understand where your going with this!

The default flight I had caused FSX to lockup on loading with the 737 selected, deleting it by doing what I said above allowed FSX to load properly. It may or may not work but its worth a try.

Cheers, Andy.

Sorry, was not questioning your post by rather Marcel11. I tried your suggestion, but still locks up once loaded. The plane rolls for 1/2 second then locks up!Just to make sure everyone knows, I have read the manual and deleted FSX.CFG and configured as per manual.

Close fsx down then try renaming the fsx.cfg to fsx.cfg.old to save it then start fsx again.Edit: Oops never mind then I see you already tried that.

Cheers, Andy.

Are you telling me that know one has this issue but me?

try at a different airport, I had noticed those freezing somehow are related to airports.

Thanks, but I have tried that option many times . . . Its almost like its on pause and the reason I say this is FSX doesn't crash, just freezes up. I can't do anything but just look through the front cockpit (which that looks great). Also mention that I am using EZdok and I can hear it activate when I try to look around, but no real movement.

I know that I am not to be doing this, but I loaded the Cessna and shut it down and then load 737NGX. It loads then freezes up, but this time I get a wider view with all the panels and instraments grey. I also noticed that the landing gear was in the up position and not down.

If you want an official response you need to open a support ticket here; http://support.preci...in/Default.aspx
I agree and have already, no response yet!

I'm trying to place a ticket of my own regarding another issue but the support portal seems to have hung after I submitted the ticket, the wheel is spinning in Firefox as if the page is loading but nothing is happening, its been like this for a couple of minutes now.

Cheers, Andy.
