  1. I would use your old computer and network your FSX addons through the second computer, this way you can add Aivlasoft EFB on the second computer and track all your flights. Its also good for Active Sky 2012 and if your with a virtual air lines you can also use there ACARS on the second machine with Widefs from Peter Dowson....
  2. I would appreciate if you can switch over from the A320 and build the A340 serious......please!

yes....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMrW4O4WXYY&feature=c4-overview&list=UUCcyPyTfN8LEVHQojHkR-aA Go to 3:24 in the video and it will explain.........enjoy
  4. I agree with the Topic starter and would think the way computer tech is going, someone would benefit with the upgrades.
  5. O.....yes, keep my mouth shut.....yes......and your title is so professional. What you may THINK is relevant to your life NOW, may not be so with some one else. If you want to make a point (I would suggest a collage course on Communication for you), I would not start the topic with a insult. 6 billion people on this earth and you just put us all in the BUMB category . . . .nice!
  6. I am not sure what generation you are taking about, but your title just wanted me to say SHUT UP!
  7. Awesome topic, never even heard of the product, but now reading all these post, I will look into it.
  8. I bought the Maddog years ago and still cant fly it......every time I load the plane I cant stand how BAD the graphics are..........very poor product for the money you pay.......system may be good, but what happened to the graphics......
  9. I have done some CPU testing on my CPU (i7 930 Bloomfield 2.8GHz overclocked to 4.2 GHz) and with FSX running I am not even using all my CPU power, so I am not sure if upgrading hardware will do any better unless you are using this for other games which I can understand upgrading, but still your specs look great with a new graphic card and more memory. I do understand not wanting to run a second computer, but it does do wonders. You could really get nerdy and raid a couple of SSD.....this would be huge in performance...... I could be wrong, so please dont chew me out to bad.......
  10. You are all going this the wrong way....FSX was built on old technology with 32bit.....your upgrades is like having a lamborghini on a windy road, looks great but can't really use its full potential with FSX. I would and I have invested in a second computer and network them both, transfer all my add on and everything is running great!
  11. I have the same processor and motherboard as you....even overclocked it like you......lol I do have the Nvidia 560T card with a cooler as well.......Instead of building a new high end rig, upgrade the graphic card, build or buy a cheap second computer and start networking two computers.....one runs FSX and the second runs your add on like active sky, Aivlasoft or fs commander 9.3, and etc.......this will take the load off your main computer.... hope this helps on ideas
  12. I did the Valcon mind meld and got a bigger number.....

  14. I don't think Vroute had PMDG 777 yet. Either which way, the more you get use to the PMDG T7 the more you can either guess your weight or put FSX in window mode and work between FSX and vroute...... I wish that PMDG came with a fuel planner......charged enough money!
  15. You can't save the file as .txt, so make sure when you copy and paste AS 2012 data, that you "save file type" as "All Files" and not .txt
  16. Maybe I missed it, but you are to save the file as All Files under Save as type and not .txt
  17. I do these all the time and there is to many processors to tell you which one is good to shut off, so the best way is: 1-run msconfig in Windows Vista or W7 in the search menu (if XP then in "Run") 2-you will see multiple tabs, go to "startup". You can run any of these processors off, so go through them and uncheck like Adobe. Apple products, HP, Dell......anything that you feel that doesnt need to run at start up. If unsure, just google it. 3-go to the "service" tab and from there check "hide all Microsoft services" 4-be careful on this one......I leave any antivirus or malware programs running, all with printers, Bonjour, Flexnet license service, graphics, and or soundcards. Once your happy hit apply and restart your computer. Notes: if a program doesn't work anymore, it maybe due to you shutting this processor off and will need to go back into msconfig and look for this processor and restarting it. Hope this helps If you haven't cleaned out your computer before download the following: cceaner: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ (the download tab is top right called "download latest version". There will be four tabs, so on the cleaner tab just hit run cleaner.....this cleans out temp files from the internet. Then on the registry tab hit scan issues and then follow the instructions Then from there you should use several tools to clean out adware and malware ....etc: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/windows/ Download "Adware" and run it. Once the scan is done press clean and then it will restart your computer I would also down load Malwarebytes from the same link above (dont check Pro version when installing it). Malwarebytes does Trojans, malware, spyware....etc
  18. Do I even care? Just giving some other options!
  19. Are you running the Operation Center? Adding livery hasn't been so easier.
  20. Just like the gentlemen before me......ww4.fltplan.com.....then register......then go to the left tabs and under "Navigation" there is "Digital Charts".....awesome website!
  21. If you get either Aivlasoft EFB or FS Command and then purchase NavData from Aerosoft to update your cycles either quarterly or every cycle. It also updates Wilco, PMDG, Aerosoft Airbus X, FSBuild, Captain Sim, and more....its worth the money. Also for the freeware, there is Flightaware.com which is great for USA. There is ww4.fltplan.com which is good as well.....just get registered and then go to the left tabs under "Navigation" and then "digital charts", this is for North America.

Wow...harsh wording and I admit that I am shocked. I actually go to this website for the latest info update (this is how I found out that PMDG 777 was out) and not the release dates....I just assumed that they where getting info on either info they received or some guessing, I never thought they would just pull numbers out of their head and make it gospel, so your comments you made I feel are uncalled for.
  23. He is a link that can help you tweak #####.wordpress.com/fsx-software-and-hardware-guide/ as mentioned before, PMDG manual does go through some tweaks as well.
  24. thanks guys
  25. Just checking if there is a known issue or just my T7.......the "caution and warning" light in front of the pilot and copilot on the glareshield will not extinguish the caution light. Once the caution light comes on I can get it to stop, even after press the button.
