August 8, 201114 yr Hi there,Everything seems fine on my ngx but I was wondering if there was a way to load my manually typed flight plans after I have saved it in the fmc, when it's saved there is no option to title it either so it's hard to track down.On some flights I don't mind retyping the plan in but I have 100's of easy and complex plans that are matched with PFE and sometimes little time to fly, so once I saved them through the ngx fmc it would be good to access them again for future flights.I have been through the manuals and search and can't find the 'load' button.Any ideas?Chris Farrell Chris Farrell
August 8, 201114 yr I would be interested in the outcome from this post myself because i don't use any external flight planner would be happy to type the plan out then save.
August 8, 201114 yr Chris, On the RTE page, click on LSK 2L, which is CO ROUTE. That should bring up a list of your saved flight plans to choose from. You can also just type it in and select on to that line.
August 8, 201114 yr You can also make a flight plan with the free program FSCaptain, save it in the PMDG format and load it into the FMC. You can even load flight plans saved for other aircraft, as long as you check the PMDG option when you save. Of course you may havwe to make a few changes to the flight plan after you load it because the NGX plane has a lot more options. Henri Henri Arsenault
August 8, 201114 yr +1 No flight plan saved to the "co route" via the CDU ever appears again. Saving EGKKEHAM goes fine, but type in EGKKEHAM, line select it to company route, all I get is "not found". I have not tried the "click on company route LSK", but I will now! November 24, 201114 yr Type the name into the CO ROUTE field to load a plan. If it doesn't load, try again but type 001 at the end of the two icao codes. Tyler St. Peter Specs- i7-950 OC@ 3.4Ghz, Asus P6TSE, ATI HD5770, 750W PSU, Water cooled, Hitachi 1TB HDD
