August 15, 201114 yr ENB is gone.... gone I say!!! Not one issue with the NGX since I got rid of ENB. Also after flying around today with no ENB MOD I also have noticed a few other little issues I was having are also gone. To each his own though in the crazy FSX world we all play in. August 15, 201114 yr I haven't had any issues with ENB mod and I'm using it with FSDT scenery. @Zach Yeah I realized this too. I turn it off whenever I fly at night. August 15, 201114 yr I made the same experience. Since removing the ENB-Mod i have had no d3d9.dll-CTD. Before i was not able to finish a single flight without CTD. RegardsNepo
August 15, 201114 yr Moderator Not to hijack, but I find ENB Series to be extremely unrealistic at night. On the contrary, it's too bright! Taxiing an aircraft at night at most airports is literally a dark experience.Inside the ENB ini files there are adjustments to make it as dark as you want or as light as you want. The only problem though is that whatever you do for the outside also effects the inside of the VC, althought if you tweak the values in the settings below you can probably find a good value that works for a reasonable night time look.BloomPowerNight=(0..100) power of bloom at night time, dependent from screen brightness.BloomConstantNight=(0..100) power of bloom at night time, independent from adaptation time between screen brightness change.BloomCurveNight=(-10..10) gamma correction of bloom at night time. negative values increases halftone brightness (smoggy look), positive values decrease halftones brightness (contrast, intensive image).BloomScreenLevelNight=(0..100) level of screen brightness in percents, that determined as night time.ScreenLevelNight=(0..100) level of screen brightness in percents, that determined as night time. Description is the same as for ScreenLevelDay.DarkeningAmountNight=(-100..100) how much to dark or to bright dark screen areas at night time. Negative values makes brighter, positive darker. Positive values recommended for more natural nights, but negative values simulates eye adaptation to dark areas when you goint in to shadow from light. Description is the same as for parameter DarkeningAmountDay.GammaCurveNight=(-10..10) gamma correction at night time. Description is the same as for GammaCurveDay.ColorSaturationNight=(-10..10) color saturation at the night time computed from screen brightness. Description is the same as for ColorSaturationDay.Sean Campbell Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
