Cannot understand how I could be the only one, that has not been able to complete a full flight,withthis aircraft, After reading every post for the last week and following all the suggestions posted, and setting up FSXAs per the instructions, not running anything in the background etc etc, I would experience the freezesituation...on every attempt to start a flight,Weather ( CLEAR SKIES)Installed the first hot fix ..as I could not get passed setting up the FMC...legs page..and if I did ..Iwould still get the freeze after takeoff,,before reaching 9000 feet,...(.never a crash to desktop) Installed the AUG 15/11 Hot fix...now I can get a crash to the desktop ( no freezes so far) whiledoing the tutorial #1,,at the point where you pass 400 feet and when you press CMD-A ..completecrash to desk top....with everything setup as instucted..weather (CLEAR SKIES) Tried various flights...one being KCVG-CYYZ...Setup went well...takeoff perfect...climbing to5000 feet went on autopilot....aircraft followed the flight path as normal..however during the climbit was hunting to the left and right then left and right...stop climbing...climb 2-300 ft and stopclimbing again..climb 2-300 ft and stop again..( all the while searching left right ..left right )never leaving the flight path) However it never reached FL350...at approx 32.300 ft ..another left -right and a jerk left which itwould not recover from.....kept turning left and started the decend ..and could not be re-covered, This happened on approx 3 additional flights..all ending in a crash ( before I gave up trying touse this aircraft, ( I do not think the passengers were impressed) Cannot do the tutorial or a common flight ..Oh well ///Not a problem on this computor with the Concorde,747,767,MD11 with heavy weather etc etc, Win XP 64 with Accelleration, GEX US-CAN-EUROPE UTX US-CAN-EUROPEREX Overdrive FEX, ASE,i7 980X 3.33 EVGA 4 Way Classified,Mushkin DDR3 1600MHz 6GB2X-EVGA GTX580 SC SLICorsair 1200W 80+Cool Master HAF Best RegardsDon Nelson

Don't have a clue what your problem could be. However I noticed your tag line. 2X-EVGA GTX580 SC SLI - FSX does not support SLI and having 2 video cards in SLI Mode with FSX running will actually hurt your performance. Because of this 1 Card will actually run faster than 2. If you are running SLI turn it off in NVIDIA Control Panel. Another thing I noticed is that your using FSX Acceleration. I used that for over a year and found out later it was the cause of the majority of my headaches with sceneries and other plane issues. I highly recommend just having FSX installed with SP1 and SP2. It is the same thing as Acceleration but without the extra planes and headaches.

Hi Paul...Thank you for your fast reply...I agree with your comments regarding SLI ..However I am pushing a TH2G and 3-24"Screens..which this does help....and in my mind it is the only way to do flight sim ( thats only my view of course), and I havebeen useing the TH2G and three screens for the last four and a half years and cannot see myself without it, At the time I purchased the FSX ..it came as the Gold addition ( which included Accelleration) and I have never changedit, as I always setup FSX as per Nick N guides and recommendations and included in that he says that SP2 is alreadyincluded in Accelleration...so that is why its there as I never took it out and installed SP2 , Maybe I should do ..althoughI have not had problems with it so far ( touch wood), Thank you PaulBest RegardsDon Nelson

SLI shouldn't be the issue. I'm using 2 EVGA 580's without any problems.

In 23 flights I have had 3 fatal errors. Each of which occurred during dusk hours! Maybe the the transition from day to night taxes the system as the daylight fades to night? Just a thought.

In 9 flights I have not had a SINGLE problem. I mean i had like 2 freezes but all I had to do was re-load the aircraft and all was fine. The only thing I recommend is to not install those silly hot-fixes... they don't work; they cause more problems then solutions.

I've done several dusk flights without any CTD's, all over Orbx scenery and going from fullday through dusk onto night
