August 17, 201114 yr I wouldn't even run FSX on that... just my opinion though. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

August 17, 201114 yr I used to run Intel core 2 duo at 2.3 GHZ, 3GB ram and a 8500GT.I would get 20-23 fps in the VC in the QW 757 and Wilco 330/340.Now yours is alittle weaker then my old system so you will start to get 10 fps with those AC's Keep on flying

August 17, 201114 yr "30FPS". That's extremely conditional, ya know? At extreme low settings those "lite" system-less aircraft should run okay. And by okay I mean to very low standards. No offense. These payware you list are extremely basic, so you should be alright. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

I choose F Lite aircraft because they are easy to fly and I don't have all day to fly and flip switches. - Jay Hutchinson
August 17, 201114 yr To each his own... But why pay for aircraft that are basically like the defaults you already have? 30 FPS is good, but I doubt you see 30FPS in urban areas with autogen and scenery anywhere past "none". Back to the OP, though, you'll be okay with those aircraft. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

August 17, 201114 yr If you are only going to use those types of planes you could go for an i5 2300 GTS 450 based system. They aren't that intensive. My C2D E8400 and a GT 430 run them fine. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 17, 201114 yr Really low settings in FSX and you'll be fine. I don't believe you are getting "30fps" mostly. Yeah, in flight, high above... Setup takeoff on the airport with AirbusX VC, good luck on getting 30fps. You'll really need to go low with settings.
August 17, 201114 yr Guys. You're all failing to notice that he's running a laptop there. And btw, you need a throttle and joystick for the airbus x. Keyboard won't work. To be honest, that system is never going to run the airbus x. Yes, it's systems may be pretty basic, but the quality of the VC which you have got to fly from (there is no 2D) is really high. August 17, 201114 yr You need throttles as well. It's not the joystick thats the problem, the standard mouse joystick works, but the ingame throttles are controlled 100% by hardware throttles, keyboard doesnt work. I shouldn't really bother telling you this because that laptop isnt going to run the Airbus X anyway. Its far too visually detailed.
