August 19, 201114 yr Sometime later today, I going to try again starting with a fresh version of FSUIPC.ini. Will report results.Claude Ok, I tried with a plain, vanilla, FSUIPC.ini and NO JOY! The EFIS and MCPPro Rotaries/Dials work, the digits in the sim change, and the only MCPPro displays lit are the Course Left & Right. The only other addon working in the sim is EZCA and I don't really think it's intercepting commands from the modules. Oh, and I'm not runing Linda. Wish I had better news, but we'll get it resolved eventually, I'm certain. Thanks again for your efforts. Claude Regards, Claude Franklin
August 19, 201114 yr Author Ok, I'll look at the button and toggle switch routines and see if I can spot something odd. Leave it with me. Stephen Munn
August 19, 201114 yr Exact same issues for me. I also have firmware A22 for my MCP, no EFIS though. Steve, are you saying YOU do get the digits all showing for yours?? Bruce Bruce Wood

It might also be worth checking your NGX_AUTO.log file in the modules directory (enable LUA logging in fsuipc if it isn't there) to see if any errors are appearing. I have a feeling it may be copy and paste errors causing the problems (windows locales etc). Stephen Munn
August 20, 201114 yr Author It appears that the problems people are experiencing with this is due to the cut and paste of the script not working correctly.I will post the file onto avsim shortly, however in the meantime if you PM me your email address I will send the file to you.Best wishesSteve Stephen Munn

Many thanks to Steve. Regards, Claude Franklin
August 20, 201114 yr Yep, Tried the file you sent me and it works as described. Had Linda runnig with it as well. No obvious issues but I cant trim one way while on the ground using a rocker button on my yoke but works fine in the air. Suspect that last hotpatch as it was fine before that. August 21, 201114 yr Author File is now on avsim so the copy and paste errors have gone and all should work correctly. http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=161313&CatID=fsxutil Best wishesSteve Stephen Munn
August 21, 201114 yr Installed the file now at AVSIM and the code works very well. In fact, I think it works better than the GoFlight software I have used for other aircraft. Rate of change speeds are good and positive. Not having the display is no problem for me as I look at the VC anyway. Great Job Stsve! Brad Rich
August 23, 201114 yr dear steve, i have a problem with lua.ias/mach, heading. altitude and vert speed display goes blank.but course display left and right working properly.i have A25 firmware with 2.02 driver for goflightthx
August 23, 201114 yr Author The readme in the download explains that those displays cannot function at the moment because lua cannot see them and pmdg have not yet released the SDK that would enable this. This is why I called it a partial interface.Best wishesSteve Stephen Munn
August 24, 201114 yr Hi Steve, Think I have found another issue. Not 100% sure but if I disable the lua script everything works again as it should. The issue is I run VoxATC and have the microphone assigned to Button 0 of my Saitek Yoke. With your lua script it seems every time I turn a dial or push a button on the MCP Pro it is also activating button 0 on my yoke. IT tells as a blip in the headset and when VoxATC is transmitting plays the "two at once squeal". VoxATC Joystick setup shows it is getting button presses from the Saitek Yoke but Linda itself does not. Not sure if this is a VoxATC issue or the script but the MCP Pro and VoxATC are happy togeather with the paid driver for the PMDG Queen so lean towards the script. August 24, 201114 yr Author I do send the SPACE key after each call of the script, which is the mouse look command in FSX. I do this to cancel the mouse pointer on the screen since it tends to stay active on screen when you send lua ipc commands. If VOXATC is using space as the microphone transmit key, that could be the problem. I have most of the default keys cleared out of FSX now.
