August 18, 201114 yr I have no problem at all calibrating my CH yoke, throttle and rudder using FSUIPC for all of my aircrafts Cheers Wolfgang
August 18, 201114 yr I completely strip all axis assignments out of FSX and disable the controllers. Then I load CH control manager and calibrate each control axis leaving a gap at each end as recommended to reach maximum inputs and to prevent 'twitches'. I create a map in CH control manager so that the controllers are detected and shown in Windows device manager under CH Controllers. I then use FSUIPC to assign each CH axis to a FSX axis. I don't use the calibration in FSUIPC except for reversing the toe brakes. This seems to work fine with the NGX. August 18, 201114 yr Anyone know why PMDG recommend NOT using FSUIPC to calibrate their controls ? Glen From the NGX Introduction! Calibratingthrough FSUIPC may not cause any problems, but in certaincircumstances with certain hardware we found that problemsexisted that could only be resolved by having the user conductthe calibration via the driver/software.
August 18, 201114 yr Stephen Thanks for the info. Looks like its not a definate 'don't do it' - I think I'll try it, as I used FSUIPC calibration before getting the NGX. Glen Glen
August 18, 201114 yr Although not for 'axis' use I have just installed LINDA , which now has available for additional download a profile for the NGX replacing key/button assignments via FSUIPC.
