August 18, 201114 yr Careful doing that. In the RW after burning those lights for 10 minutes it takes 2 DAYS to recharge the batteries. Would hate to see you guys without your NGX for 2 days. Hopefully that's one aspect of reality that PMDG has not modeled. :0) Ahah true, some companies go crazy when staff uses the emergency lighting in order to see inside the a/c while power is still off!
August 18, 201114 yr Minor issue? Had to be the post about how the instruments didn't fit exactly right into the panel. Someone had a pic of some 737 without considering PMDG might have been modelled off of a different 737. If you can complain about a inch or two of cockpit panelling that has no bearing on anything in the plane itself, then I would guess nothing is too minor for some on this forum. August 18, 201114 yr LOL. I thought it was a bug too. I would shut down after my last flight of the night and I was like TURN OFF DAMNIT! Slowly growing awareness of system functioning and operation of this aircraft and that goes for anyone trying to seriously operate it. Very bad news for other developers and even PMDG themselves who won't be able to afford delivering future add-ons that are anything less than a breathing living machine. That provides bright light for many, many, many hours (haven't changed the batteries in 3 years even though I use it often).
August 18, 201114 yr For every minute used, the emergency lights take 20 minutes of flight time to recharge in real life. Also, they need to be able to run at a minimum of 20 minutes, not a maximum of 10 minutes. Name available upon request
August 18, 201114 yr Maybe there isn't one in the real thing either..! :D Then let's rephrase the question as "most minor issue/stupidest feature on the real aircraft".
August 19, 201114 yr no, the most minor issue is the fact that they have called the FO's inbound DU brightness control knob the "outbound" and the outboud the inbound. Antoine v Heck --- Ryzen 5800X3D, 32Gb DDR4 RAM@1600 Mhz, RTX3090 (24GB VRAM). 2TB SSD - VR with Quest 2 via link cable
August 19, 201114 yr If you look behind you in VC mode the fire extinguisher was last inspected in 2007 and is scheduled for it's next inspection in 2019!!!! That can't be correct MarkC
