August 18, 201114 yr My offering for the most trivial bug found on the NGX is as follows:Start the 800WL at night in Cold & Dark panel state. Try and turn on the dome light using the switch on the overhead and it does not come on. So far so good. Turn the switch back to the off position, turn the battery on and turn the dome light back on and it comes on. Still so far so good - the switch controls the light only if there is power available. Now turn the battery off. The dome light stays on and the dome light switch has no effect. So it is the switch that is controled by the prescence of power and not the light it self. How minor is that! Paul Smith.
August 18, 201114 yr yes, if emergency light switch is armed and power is off dome light will automatically go on ;).
August 18, 201114 yr ps the emergency lighting is only good for 10 mins max. it runs off its own seperate battery =) Andrew Simmons Intel i7 950+Corsair H70. 6 Gig ram Kingston Hyperx 1600Mhz ASUS GTX560 Ti (900mhz core/1800Shader/2100Memory) 1T Cavier Black HD + 1T Cavier Green for backup jobs. August 18, 201114 yr Author Cool - so my most minor bug attempt is probably not even a bug at all. Wow this plane is good! Paul Smith.

August 18, 201114 yr I haven't found any bugs. If I think I see one, I think its just too advanced so its my problem. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 18, 201114 yr My most minor issue: there is no brightness difference between the dim and bright compass light settings. :(
August 18, 201114 yr My most minor issue: there is no brightness difference between the dim and bright compass light settings. Maybe there isn't one in the real thing either..! :D Cheers, Balint Nagy
August 18, 201114 yr There's a limitation with the emergency light system though I think, if you turn the emergency light system on it doesn't illuminate the outside emergency lights which serve as a guidance for the passengers on the exits in the case of an emergency. Maybe it is a FSX limitation though.
August 18, 201114 yr ps the emergency lighting is only good for 10 mins max. it runs off its own seperate battery =) are you saying that, with the emergency lighst ON, when switching everything OFF to a C&D state (turning off APU, stdby power, battery etc) this dome light will shine for 10 minutes? August 18, 201114 yr Careful doing that. In the RW after burning those lights for 10 minutes it takes 2 DAYS to recharge the batteries. Would hate to see you guys without your NGX for 2 days. Hopefully that's one aspect of reality that PMDG has not modeled. :0) Kerry W. GipeSavannah Georgia, USAUS FAA A&P / Commercial Pilot Multi Engine Land IFRYour talent is a gift from God. August 18, 201114 yr YesCool ! i thought it was a little bug too, haha All those years we've been fooled by the other addons lacking this kind of detail. i've been foolishly following checklists to switch things on or off in a particular order without knowing WHY and it woudn't have mattered anyway. Now it makes perfect sense to switch the emr lights to OFF.
