V-sync creates stutters. Replaces tears by skipping the frame, which creates a stutter

I think it is off so that is not the cause of the problem. It seems to be a software issue cos not everyone has the problem with this causing stutters.

Try forcing it off in the nvidia control panel anyway

Speaking of opening the control panel, I have been unable to do that lately. I click the shortcut and it puts in a little effort then stops. Nothing. I think i will reinstall drivers and control panel.

Vsync can create problems I do not use it.

Well, I do think everyone has this problem but not everyone sees it or gets annoyed by it.

Ah! That's what I've been saying for some time now too! Wish there was a way to remove the tearing in another way... ;)

Ok, I have good performance but I still have the micro stutters. At YMML I get about 30FPS at the runway, when I look at the terminal with 100% traffic it goes to about 25FPS. Just gotta fix the stutters. And when I exit the flight the screen will go black, then the main menu comes up. I hover over the taskbar and desktop icons and they show up but the rest remains blank, any ideas?

I think I have got the crash away from the bufferpools tweak. I had it without it and it still stuttered so what will it be now.

I've come to the following conclusion (and have posted this various times here and there already today): I think everyone has those microstutters. Don't look at it: within some time, when you just fly and have fun, you won't notice it anymore. At least that's what I am going to do. I also have 'perfect' performance (constant fps 30 etc.) and I've tried every trick, tweak and guide that's available, but these stutters are simply there. Nothing you can do about it. Everyone who says they don't have them have them too but they just don't see it or pay attention to it.

they are more obvious here and there. A little field they aren't there at all but at YMML they are quite noticeable. I have actually bought it back to the bufferpools tweak. I bought back the usepools and rejecthreshold and the stutters were bad. I am sure someone knows how to at least hide them more but maybe 'til then I will have to live with them. Performance seems pretty good though after following Mathijis' guide (Is that how you spell it?).

Basically, on a 60Hz monitor, unless you are running it at a constant 60 FPS, you will see stutters.

Here are a few pics. Its nice but the stutters are annoying. I used the snipping tool in windowed mode so quality is pretty bad.Anyone know the fix for the AppHangB1 error. It only ever happens if I have had the system on for say 4 hours or so.
