August 20, 201114 yr What about not having any pre-rendered frames in the nVidia Control Panel. It is set at 3 at the moment, the recommended setting.I tried all possible settings there: didn't help. I have PhysX turned off: I don't need it. Afaik. BTW When the stutters get bad at that heavy airport, maybe those are normal stutters...? There are two kind of stutters: normal stutters that are due to too high settings or too heavy scenery (or anything that makes the system perform worse) and microstutters which are due to vsync. Setting ingame settings higher of lower will help with the normal stutters: as we all know by now nothing will solve the microstutters right now. When I fly with high settings, I always have microstutters. When I get close to heavy scenery normal stutters are added to the pack, which can be easily checked by looking at the fps on screen. Don't mistake the two!
August 20, 201114 yr Author turn it off eh, maybe it will help. I use it a lot in Battlefield with all the papers that fly around. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 20, 201114 yr The BP looks like does not have any effect on my system. What do you mean it has no effect? Set BP=0 and watch FPS go up by about 10fps. You need to use an airport like KLGA and gray and rainy weather. You will see much higher frame rates with a low BP setting (bellow 30000.) MSFS

You will see much higher frame rates with a low BP setting (bellow 30000.) My rig is not that powerful but I manage to pull around 15 -20 fps @klga in fair weather on ground, I will try it. I have kept the poolsize to 490M as I have a 1GB gfx card BP setting (bellow 30000.) could you explain this please. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

August 20, 201114 yr DJ, I am getting 11 fps in bad weather with the Carenado Baron 58, but my autogen and scenery complexity are on 100% and this is what I have [bufferPools]PoolSize=30000 (suggested change)RejectThreshold=131072UsePools=0 Okay. Thankyou! You may need to switch off Userpools or enable it , all depends on the system. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

You're trying to run FSX, with sliders to the right, on an AMD 3.8ghz and an ATI card. That will reduce performance. The BP=0 tweak works best on modern GPU, like the gtx 570 or 580. I don't use BP=0 with my gtx 480. BTW, just use this setting: [bufferPools]PoolSize=30000 MSFS
