I don't know, but for all the hours Bill put into the KRDG scenery, it seems amazing. Probably the best regional airport done for FS IMHO. I helped Bill out and that may change my point of view but... nevertheless, I was shocked by the minimal ammount of feedback. So I'm asking you, what do you guys think of the scenery? *(I posted this here and not in the MAAM-SIM forum, because this will reach a large audience.):-jumpyCheck out my work: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...Weik&CatID=Roothttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg------------------Kenneth WeikTWVA395 / [email protected]

Does Bill know about this shameless plug?? Did Tom put you up to this?? LOLI d/l it, but haven't had a chance to check it out. The previews looked great and I am sure it is very nice. I don't fly in that area of the country, so for me, it will be a few flights and then if I ever get to that area, I will rediscover it again.Hopefully tonight and I'll get back with you ;-)Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VACougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviation[link:www.cgrmthelos.com]Cougar Mountain Helicopters

Hi Kenneth,You're absolutely correct and for that I do apologize. Everyone should download this scenery - I was one of the first and have spent ages on the taxiways and in the air marvelling at this achievement. Watching the numerous AI aircraft alone is worth the download and really adds to the atmosphere of this virtual reality. As the sun was setting, reluctantly I landed the RealAir C172, taxied to the MAAM hanger, opened the doors and, finding it empty, sneeked inside for the night. I then retired to bed feeling thoroughly content and satisfied. This is what simming is all about!Well done!MikeEdit: I think part of the problem is that we are in danger of taking such creations for granted and forgetting those who spend hours slogging away for our pleasure and gratification. It's kinda like the current relative lack of media coverage of history in the making at Mars. We really should be ashamed.

Oh the MAAM scenery is absolutely fantastic. Great job. I love it.

Oh, I don't know,The first pictures I ever posted in the Screen Shots Forum were of MAAM's KRDG.I fly (real world) to RDG reasonably frequently (every other month or so) and yep, this is it. I even see the fence I have to go through to get to the restaurant in the terminal. Transient GA parking is, roughly, behind the tower.Wanna go to Reading? D/L and install the scenery.-Carl

Ken, thx for the reminder. This is one of those files I was going to download and somehow it slipped through the cracks. I flew the R4D in FS2002 and it was totally awesome. These guys do good stuff..billg

Yes indeed this scenery is a great addition to simming fun!Lots of detail, and hangars w/opening doors to park in...I am running FS2004 on an old Dell 733mhz (it's true!) and thisgmax scenery works just fine...and the install was a snap. Thanks to the MAAAM team!JR

Funny thing happened to me on the way to the Forum. ---Well, not really funny. Mostly, just an observation. 95% of my sim flights are in the MAAM BT. You can check my post in that forum. This scenery is outstanding. I wish I could do half as good with my humble sceneries. For me this sets a standard beyond my talent. ---- It is not possible to fly from the all new sceneries and then land without a purpose. Strange choice of words, perhaps. Having flown the MAAM B-25 twice around the world it will be most pleasing to land her at her home. Right now BT is over Rochester, NY. It is snowing a bit. Throttles set back to the edge of the green and prop pitch likewise. Need a few more Avgas fills and flight plans to make back home.Hope you understand.Frenchy -- out.

Been too busy exploring it to sit here writing about it, but since you ask: it's the biz. Great job Bill - well, we just knew it would be - and since you told me to download the mesh to go with it now I have even less hard drive space. And with 'Briefing Time' and John Schumacker's airshow as well ... all we need now is that new R4D-6, I guess.Very sharp, very clean, very nice. Very superb, actually.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg

I like short flights and I home out of Teterboro (KTEB) in New Jersey. Reading is a nice short hop. When I first saw the scenery I wondered if enough people would be interested in a small PA airport to justify the the hard work that went into it. For me it's great. Where else can you pull right into the hanger and park? http://mysite.verizon.net/tjrush/avsimfsg.jpg------------SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS------------ Dell Pentium 4 at 3.2GHz with 800MHz FSB 1GB Dual Channel DDR SDRAM at 400MHz 128MB DDR ATI RADEON 9800 Pro 21 inch P1130 FD Trinitron CRT Monitor 120GB Ultra ATA/100 Hard Drive Sound Blaster Audigy 2 with DVD Audio WindowsXP Home Edition with Microsoft Plus!

... right there in my BT off your left wingtip Frenchy! It is just amazing. The stuff these guys put out is the best. My only other "stuff" is the CaptSim FABULOUS 727, "BlueScene" - Gerrit Kranenbarg, Kyprianos Biris's "Kerkyra" airport, Steve Kempf's Colorized Textures and the SOCAL Megascenery. I want for nothing else.KDRG is where it all happens! Thanks MAAM-Sim.Happy (and prosperous) New Year!PJOntario Can.

I wrote back to Bill on the MAAM forum the other day about the great job he did on this scenery. Those of us who attended the AVSIM conference can attest to the accuracy of his work. I still remember the AVSIM flying contest trying to fly BT on that tough approach. Now if only I could convince someone to do Baltimore-Washington International (KBWI) !!!!!!!!!!Airbus

Hi:This is not a response to your question as to why there was no response to another aiport scenery file. (??)I checked out your work, via the AVSIM Library and found a San Diego gate file you have created. It recommended that it be used in conjunction with...; "acoftj_1.zip scenery package created by Jan Martin"I tried to locate that scenery package here on AVSIM but was unsucessful. I did a search for Author: Jan Martin and for Filename; acoftj_1.zipIs it somewhere else that I should be looking? Thanks,DonaldS
