My system is almost identical to yours, and I've had the same error, and other similar CTDs. I get round my CTDs at present by loading the default Ultralight first, then changing aircraft. Still testing, but on the whole I get a flyable NGX experience with this.

Try AffinityMask=14 [bufferPools]PoolSize=30000Drop your water down to 4. Water is a 600Ilb gorrila in FSX. I am running near identical spec's, and not had a CTD. FPS around 40 at orbx YMML, as an example in the NGX. Check your Bios, check memory timing,If you followed Nick's guide, why have you got AM=224 ?Bufferpools can also kill your system if it is incorrect. The above bufferpools setting should give you a good balance between performance and stability.

Hi I am not sure how Affinity Mask is 224? or the Buffer pools setting I will amend settings today and report back, I have 4 x 4 gb sticks of ddr3 1600 ram installed could that be a prob? I'll change unlimited fuel to false

What is your start up aircraft ? I use default cessna, then load the NGX. I have seen what you described, but not with the NGX, another aircraft that had a dodgy aircraft cfg. Do you have UAC turned of ?. Re download the NGX from your account, and re install. How does your FSX seem now you have changed settings ?

I mentioned this several times in the forum but nobody seems to notice it lol. I have the X52 Pro and Saitek Rudder pedals and same thing happens to me from time to time. If you get a crash during load up disconnect your controllers and the problem is solved.
