August 31, 201114 yr +1, amazing the detail in this bird. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 31, 201114 yr It is a rubber cap that covers the elecrical connection to the window. As you know the side window is heated and this means that there are wires going to it. The terminal lug is covered to protect pilots and system from possible contacts. Regards Andrea Daviero
August 31, 201114 yr Speaking of the side window, anybody noticed the reflection you get when the sun is in right spot, if you look at the rear most side window captains side you can see the circuit breaker panel reflecting in the glass. Truly amazing. Had a similar experience when I landed in VECC and it was sunset. Light was coming inside my cockpit and I saw a glare of light across my MCP. Roy Joven T.
