November 14, 201114 yr Only use CH Control Manager to set the reverser zone and to calibrate the axis, do the assignments themselves anf any additional calibrations you may need in FSUIPC. If you can, do all your assignments of everything in FSUIPC (except the view pan hat). That way your assignmants change automatically for different aircraft and you will avoid the confusion and debugging of having controls potentially double-assigned in FSX and FSUIPC.Cheers,- jahman.jahman, since a few days i`m a proud owner of the CH TQ.What a difference to the spiking Saitek TQ´S!Only one question---how to setup the reverse zones in the CH Control Manager?Thank you Michael
November 16, 201114 yr Hi Michael,I wrote an article about setting it up with the Control Manager and with FSUIPC. Go to my site and pick the "File Downloads" button, then look on the Download page for CMNote02.zip which has the article in it in PDF format. It was written a few years back but the information should still be good. There is also some info over on Pete Dowson's forum on simFlight.com I think. You need FSUIPC for analog reverse thrust, the CM can only run the buttons and do it that way. You can use FSUIPC with or without the Control Manager.Hope this helps!Best regards,- BobThe StickWorkshttp://www.stickworks.com
November 22, 201114 yr jahman, since a few days i`m a proud owner of the CH TQ.What a difference to the spiking Saitek TQ´S!Good to hear you got rifd of the spikes!Only one question---how to setup the reverse zones in the CH Control Manager?Thank you MichaelI use the CH Control Manager to set reverse zones from 255 to 240 for each lever and a 4-tick wide nullzone IIRC. Then I access the null-zone from FSUIPC.You can also use this very nice guide for Setting-Up FSUIPC for CH Products Yoke, Pedals and Throttles from John Cook.Cheers,- jahman.
