September 8, 201114 yr I've been trying to use that D3D9 FPS limiter and I'm not too sure what to set the limit to for my PC?
September 9, 201114 yr Author How does your integrated graphics handle FSX? Is it well?I don't know exactly what it does handle? It isn't that great with what I think it works on like water, scenary, and clouds... I can get quite laggy if I try and max those out xD And theres something about JFK... i have no freakin clue what it is but i lag bad there... Im talking 4 FPS lol

Water, autogen buildings, scenery, detailed default airports, road traffic, boat traffic, airline traffic, etc. It's the place to bring any system to it's knees. I can maintain around 25-30 with no AI traffic in the NGX, but barely. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
September 9, 201114 yr Derian you need a video card really bad onboard graphics is not going to work very well in fsx. Rich Sennett
September 9, 201114 yr Really worth - it, even if it's a NVidia 9 Series, or you can go for a cheap GTX 460 :(

FPS goes down to about 15. I have seen it as low as 8. Its hard to even taxi at KSEA. Michael Cubine Michael Cubine
September 9, 201114 yr Author Hey guys! I talked to Dell customer service people a while ago and I have a 350W PSU so the best I can get is a GTX 220. Is it worth it though?
September 9, 201114 yr Derian power supplys are not to expensive, the way to go would buy a decent power supply and a better video card if you can afford it, good luck. Rich Sennett
September 10, 201114 yr Author Richard, like I said before, I talked to them and I can't upgrade it. And I don't know if upgrading to a GeForcre GTX 220 would be worth it.

Even an old 8800GT...Derian power supplys are not to expensive, the way to go would buy a decent power supply and a better video card if you can afford it, good luck.Measure your case, Derian. Most Dell cases --especially one with onboard graphics-- will absolutely not fit modern GPUs. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
September 10, 201114 yr Author I went to their site and put in my service tag and these are the possibilities for upgrades to my GPU with my current, 350W PSU.
