Ivona working on update for 'readback'

Featured Replies

I just received a mail from the team at Ivona that they will be releasing an update next month so that the voices will say 'reed back' and not 'red back'.That's service for you! I only contacted them three days ago...

That's excellent news! I don't have any of the Ivona voices, but they sounded nice from the demo translator on their website.

You should get them, they're the most realistic voices you've ever heard... well worth the investment if you use VoxATC often.

Always check the word 'Glideslope' as well. Many voices have problems with this word.

Which voices have you all purchased from them? There definitely seems to be a wide variance of quality on the voices.

They have a 5 pack American set with Kimberly, Joey, Kendra, Eric, and Jennifer which is not too bad of a price. Far cheaper than getting them separately. Then there's the 3 pack British English set with Emma, Brian, and Amy. Again a great price when buying them as a set. Those are the two sets I want to get. http://www.ivona.com/voices.php It might be rather entertaining to hear the new child voice, Ivy, giving you ATC instructions. LOL.gif

Weren't those among the first ones they made? Could be why they don't sound as natural. I think it still sounds better than the two AT&T voices I have.

Crystal and Mike are, I guess, the best AT&T voices but they still suck compared to Ivona. Now all we need are static filter Ivona voices and we're sorted!
