Maybe a silly question, but how do you post pics on this forum anyway? nvm i think i figured it out :)

Didn't FS2000 have cloud shadows? If I remember correctly they were rendered with the ground textures so they weren't "true" shadows.IMO MS would be missing the ball if they didn't have cloud shadows in Flight.
