September 25, 201114 yr Commercial Member Eddie, The transiet warning for overwing doors is mentioned on introduction pdf page 117 from the moment it extiguinshes almost immidiately it can be ignored. Actually I just had one my self departing Kerkira. :) Chris Makris PLEASE NOTE PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at http://forum.pmdg.com
October 18, 201114 yr This happens to me every flight. Pretty much as I get airborne warning light gets on, Auto fail crz altitude and landing altitude go blank, horn at around 11.000feet.I think my preparations are correct; followed Tom Risager's tutorial. Is this a known bug? THanksPeter Meinel Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1
October 18, 201114 yr I don't think anyone got this issue when climbing, As you described it seems an user error, check packs, bleeds, and pressurization panel. When the problem occurs, if with all the above on AUTO or ON post a screenshot with all te overhead panel gauges related to the pneumatic and pressurization (a total of 4 gauges on the lower, right side of the overhead. Regards Andrea Daviero
October 18, 201114 yr I never had any problems with the pressurization system, and I've done plenty of flights. Lots of short hops with many pressurization cycles (I hope PMDG didn't model the Aloha Flight 243 incident!). There was one time when I got an Autofail warning, but that was when I forgot to switch the packs back on after engine start = pilot error.
October 18, 201114 yr Thanks guys, I think I forgot the packs (will check that this evening) very stupid Peter Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1
October 18, 201114 yr Thanks guys, I think I forgot the packs (will check that this evening) very stupid Peter Human factor ;)Some real pilots did the same error, and they are in 2 in the cockpit, with sometimes years of experience. What I found strange in the logic is why there are no warnings (on the real one) that tell the pilots that packs are OFF even after take off or that the aircraft is going unpressurized. I don't mean a continous or intermittent sound, just a digitized voice that plays 2 or 3 times, maybe one at 1000ft, one at 2000ft and then 5000ft or something similar. Nothing to be annoying, neither that must warn the crew (as the plane can fly also unpressurized) but just an advise to the crew. The weigth of a similar addition will be not too high, the safety Regards Andrea Daviero
