DONT uninstall....It was a simple fix. Thanks for the other pointers, though, guys. http://forum.avsim.n...stall-just-yet/
Thanks Chris, but this works until I press ALT+ENTER at cruising altitude. Have you tried it?I've tried other possible solutions in this topic and continue with CTDs. Please.... I hope they solve it soon. I want to continue with my flights.

You're crashing when switching between full and windowed mode? I have had that happen from time to time in the past. Just getting in the air now. I'll try when I'm cruising and see if I can reproduce your crash on my pc. Pressing alt+enter on the ground didn't give me a problem.

Just installed the HOTFIX, and I now have the same issue. Your problem sounds like the one I had this morning. Try this: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/349565-possible-solution-for-those-experiencing-ctd-after-hotfix-dont-uninstall-just-yet/

Why did you not read the whole topic ?!?Never try to install a Hotfix, when you don't have any problems !

Thanks for helping resolve the situation with that helpful and informative post. The problem is minor and worth the benefits of the new hotfix.

Installed it, deleted all PMDG's entry's in "Trusted" section in FSX.cfg and fired up FSX, so far, all ok included terrain radar on FO's side. Thank you PMDG smile.png

I'm having CTDs when loading the NGX as a Default Flight as well, but when i load with a default airplane and then i load the NGX, no CTDs. But i think I'm gonna go back to the older hotfix, seems more stable for now. I'll wait for the SP1, certainly it will be more stable.

I can report that not only do I not get a CTD when switching to windowed mode, they seemed to have improved it to the point that it switches easily without the freeze that would sometimes occur. I could hit control alt delete, then cancel and it would snap back. Now I don't have to do that.

I'm happy to report that after deleting all the the trusted DLLs in fsx.cfg, and not having the NGX be my default, I havn't had any problems, except ones I would have in the real plane. (I assume) Either way, it works better than it did and I really regret getting pissy with it. I guess that will be the NGX's legacy- A giant pain to get working right, but an absolute masterpiece once it is working. And boy do I love the plane. Especially now that my F/O ND has color! I discovered that the break when switching between full and windowed mode, is caused by Enbseries módule (d3d9.dll). I'll try without the Enbseries now.
