Wishful thinking.
LOL I'm sure the guys at nvidia had nothing better to do and they just inserted that in their new driver just for the kick of it, do you think they read our forum and wanted to add to the runours........Just%20Kidding.gif

Dream on.

Excuse my complete ignorance and stupidity but for the rest of us clueless what does this mean 'imagine flight simulator' ?

Now this is pure speculation on my part BUT.......as you can all see there is something new under Flight Simulator X in this new driver (285.38), "Imagine Flight Simulator" DX10 AA-Bits" ....if I'm right and this is a big IF.... that new stuff may be some kind of a new patch (or addon like acceleration was) to come for FSX after the release of Flight of course....I'm looking to get some answer right now....don't take this to the bank yet.

Hope so. Good find. Its such a shame we have to deal with scraps of information. I know we've all discussed how Microsoft have treated the marketing of Flight but when you see Forza being blogged about in every detail here it just makes me sad. I remember the days of us getting a few videos of FSX when Hal and others would head up to Boeing Field to record sound bites etc and be really excited about re-creating sounds in Flight Sim. *sigh* - those were the pre-recession days.....Rolling Eyes.gif

Alain, my dear old and slightly mad friend, are you back on that "MS is going to patch FSX to make DX10 work" kick again? It is still no more likely than your thinly veiled suggestion that a certain (unnamed) developer from Australia was probably making Hawaii for MS Flight! I got to hand it to you though, you sure see things differently than the rest of us. It does keep me reading your threads so you are at least right at being entertaining. That is a good thing. happy.png Kind regards, Your also slightly mad friend,

LOL, Stephen old friend, I did not say that a certain (unnamed) developer from Australia was probably making Hawaii, what I said is "why have they not made it yet" ...dry.png ....nuance.....probably to busy with PNW.....FSX was importing some stuff from FS2004 right.....how farfetch will it be to import from Flight to FSX...think about it....I don't think it will be free but if I'm right improvement for FSX can be done like that...since they are using the same engine...I already got some interresting answers from my digging....I'm waiting for something more ..."official"....remember I'm here just to generate traffics on Avsim's forum....LOL....about if we ask this "10 minutes taxi guy".....LMAO.gif EDIT: by the way Stephen, you see the same thing as I see in this new driver right, I'm open to a better explaination on what this "Imagine Flight Simulator" DX10 AA-Bits" can be and what it's doing there......
