October 2, 201114 yr Who knows, perhaps FSDT decision is somehow related to poor FSX sales. Doubt it, I think fs9ers fool ourselves if we think that way. FSX is dominant. They probably did it primarily because it could be done (to their satisfaction) without as much effort as they had originally thought, hence worth the investment. Regards, Mark
October 3, 201114 yr Just like FSDT, FlightBeam released KSFO for FSX first; the release of KSFO for FS9 is expected in the very near future... DJFlightbeam KSFO for FS9 is out! http://www.flightbeam.net/ksfofs9.html
October 3, 201114 yr Author Flightbeam KSFO for FS9 is out! Thanks a lot, Scott!Looks like I'm having two Californian purchases. My travel (to California) memories from more than ten years ago will come alive thanks to them. Both addons seem to be of a very high quality, so I have no doubts they are worth buying. 26 euro (KSFO) is just fine for a top notch mega airport.I hope the FS9 version will be AES-compatible soon (I've just posted a reminder in the Aerosoft/AES forum).
October 3, 201114 yr Just tried the FS9 demo, unforunately, totally unaccepable framrate hit. Getting 4FPS max.!!! System specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit; Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz; 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz; 8 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (NVIDIA)
October 3, 201114 yr Just tried the FS9 demo, unforunately, totally unaccepable framrate hit. Getting 4FPS max.!!! What is your system? I have an i7 920 @ 3.2Ghz, GTX260 video, 6 Gb ram, on Win7 with the full version of KSFO and get the same frames as the default KSFO with the Cessna - I'm locked at 25 fps. There is no way that Mir would have released with the kind of rates you are getting for an average system. I also run full AI and REX with UT and GEPro... DJ
October 3, 201114 yr With AI or without AI? 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.
October 3, 201114 yr What is your system? Windows XP Home 32 bit, with 3,25 GB RAM, Intel Core Duo @ 3.2 GHz with a Radeon HD3850 512 MB card. For example KJFK and KORD from FSDT run pretty smooth on my system. There was no AI active and it was with the default Cessna when I tested KSFO! Any other ideas what it could be? I've deinstalled/deactivated the SFO2006_HR scenery by http://www.blueskyscenery.com (freeware) prior installing flightbeams KSFO for FS9. Hmm.. System specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit; Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz; 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz; 8 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (NVIDIA)

I wonder if it's the graphics card? DJ
October 3, 201114 yr Having a similar experience on the demo with a XP/Q9550/9800GTX+ system, got as low as 4fps with the default Cessna. Have only briefly tested though, and I should add in demo mode, so will attempt another flight tonight. If anyone finds what is clashing and causing this please advise, like has been said, I'm sure it would not have been released if it was this hard on frames for the average user. Thanks. Scott
October 3, 201114 yr Thanks Scott for your input. I gave it another try, with the trial version, my system (see above) merely achieves an average of 2.4 FPS, when the demo mode expires it "rises" to an average of 5.2 FPS. System specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit; Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz; 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz; 8 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (NVIDIA)

ScottSomething In your system is VERY wrong. I'm running a HP laptop at 2.3 ghz, 3gig ddr3, built in radeon 4250 and get 20fps with 100% ai traffic, sliders maxed, ultamate terrian, gepro, fsglobal mesh and active sky 6.5.
October 3, 201114 yr Something In your system is VERY wrong. ... Well, it would help if you could be a tad more specific. System specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit; Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz; 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz; 8 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (NVIDIA)

Also running UT, GE Pro, FS Global, ASE/REX and custom AI. No other specific SFO addons though. Did you experience this in the demo or the purchased version?
October 3, 201114 yr Well, it would help if you could be a tad more specific. How can we possibly be more specific? I don't have your computer or graphics card and am not sitting in front of your computer and don't have your problems. If I did, the second thing I might do is let FS regenerate the FS config file, then look at graphic settings in FS and the config file - things like your screen resolution, TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD, DETAIL_TEXTURE, WATER_EFFECTS, GROUND_SHADOWS, DETAIL_TEXTURE, and so on are some of the things that come to mind. UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT and TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT are others... I'd also look for AFCAD conflicts and how much AI I was running; it goes on and on and there is no magic answer. The very first thing I would do is to go to the developer's forum and ask there... http://www.flightbeam.net/forums/ DJ
