FSDT Zurich free update available
I downloaded and installed the update, looks great. My only concern, from a quick glance, is that the taxiways have still not been widened to accomodate the A380? Sure it fits with a couple of inches to spare but I think in real life they are bit wider now (I;m thinking about taxiway E down towards 34). Maybe this was outside the scope of the update.Scott

Minor Performance Upgrade Required
Hey team, Looking for a little bit of advice. My current system, specs below, can still be brought to its knees in some situations for example (Complex addon aircraft, full WOAI, REX, ASE, FSDT JFK, UT, GE PRO, FS Global etc). I have done most the common tweaks, set FS9 prioroty to high and assign it its own core etc but still just not quite there with performance eg sometimes in (low to mid teens with fps). Any tips on which of the following components (in what order and to what) I could upgrade is appreciated. I'm not comfortable with overclocking. Win XP 32Q9550 quad core @ stock 2.8Ghz9800GTX+ 512MB4GB RAM (cant remember what speed and understand only 3GB of this will be used)Gigabyte P5QL Pro mobo Thanks Scott

FSDT KLAX for FS9 will come
Totally agree, but as I'm not the only one experiencing it then it would be good to find out where the clash is on mine (and other's) systems. Also running UT, GE Pro, FS Global, ASE/REX and custom AI. No other specific SFO addons though. Did you experience this in the demo or the purchased version?

FSDT KLAX for FS9 will come
Having a similar experience on the demo with a XP/Q9550/9800GTX+ system, got as low as 4fps with the default Cessna. Have only briefly tested though, and I should add in demo mode, so will attempt another flight tonight. If anyone finds what is clashing and causing this please advise, like has been said, I'm sure it would not have been released if it was this hard on frames for the average user. Thanks. Scott

A wild ride (ASA/FS2004 pressure glitch?)
Scott Calder replied to Moose4's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumGents,Have installed SP1 and am using Build 395. Flew the same flight again NZAA->WMKK with the same flightplan in the same plane PSS T7. Again about 8 hours into the flight, somewhere over Indonesia I started having the low pressure problem again. I can't pinpoint the exact location as I left the cockpit for around 25mins to return and find the plane at around 16,000ft and the QNH being in the low 700's again. I obviously missed the worse of it though as it returned to the mis 800's fairly quickly and I had enough power to climb back to my cruise alt of FL360. During the cruise however the pressure was changing drastically, and the altitude difference between the displayed on the PFD and the dispalyed altitude when pressing 'SHIFT+Z' was often up to 4000ft different. Not sure what the next steps are, is there any more info I can provide you? Would be shame to have to avoid flyingin South East Asia as I visit their often. Thanks and Regards,Scott

A wild ride (ASA/FS2004 pressure glitch?)
Scott Calder replied to Moose4's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumHi Jim,Just has a similar issue, I'm on build 355, and yet to download the SP beta. My pressure was the other extreme though, flying over Indonesia in the PSS T7. The station in question was WIOK, where I got a pressure of 21.71 (QNH735!!!). Needless to say it sent my plane into all sorts of crazy maneuvers. Do you think the new SP will fix these really low pressures as well? Thanks for a great product.Scott

New Zealand station coverage
Scott Calder replied to a post in a topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumYes it's highly frustrating when these METAR's are available through Vatsim weather. Ticking the use Vatsim weather, and making a flightplan for say NZWN(Wellington)-NZDN(Dunedin) it will still say the flightplans destination weather is NZCH(Christchurch). Is there any way we can use the vatsim weather but put it directly through the excellent AS6.5 weather engine? That way it would give us superior coverag throughout NZ.

NZ WX station coverage
Scott Calder replied to Rottenlungs's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumHi Damian,I am pretty keen to purchase AS2 as well, but coming from NZ weather coverage for there is very important to me. I have heard that the only weather stations are NZAA, NZWN, NZCh. I was just wondering if you could clarifiy if this is correct and if NZ's weather coverage will be updated? However, the product looks awesome, especially the weather radar. Keep up the excellent work :)
