October 14, 201114 yr And specifically, PMDG 747-400? I asking, cause right now I have a problem with PMDG 747-400 and Prepar3d version 1.2 described here: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=491 So, it would be great to know, whether it is my local problem, or someone else also having it.Thanks!
October 15, 201114 yr I see the same error for the 'overhead.dll' on the 747 and as yet haven't really tried to overcome it. The 737 NGX works well however.

October 17, 201114 yr Author Problem was resolved by installing Tweak-FS Reg-Utility http://tweakfs.com/download/fsx_reg_utility.zip, changing setup-path to Prepar3d install path and installing PMDG into Prepar3d folder. Big thanks to Mike from Prepar3d forum for the idea!
January 17, 201214 yr It would be nice if someone would tell how to use this tweak-FS-Reg utility to us dummies! LOL!
January 20, 201214 yr Commercial Member don't forget the dll.xml as the installer won't know what the prepar3d folder is in application data folder. You first need to create the dll.xml file and then add the line for the pmdghud dll. However, this is for the NGX. for the 747 I would install FSX install the 747 into that, activate etc... in FSX then manually copy all the folders/files form fsx to prepar3d to make sure everything is there. FSX does not have a [trusted] section in the config because it does not need it so don't worry about whether you think guages etc.. won't be registered because they will.
